Based purely on the technicals, the obvious bad news is the potential for a dip as low as 5p before the year is out, however the good news is that if it follows form it could then be a 9-bagger in 2019!!

I saw your chart yesterday Rich & was impressed which is why I looked at it myself... on closer examination it looks like the long-term underlying growth trend is now broken... 11.75 seems to be fairly critical support to prevent a further fall and the indicators suggest it will likely fail to hold... that said, the anticipated bounce from 10 should this occur would likely take it back into the bottom of your long-term growth channel & if there is a sustained recovery the temporary fall would only show as a minor blip over the long view !!

Actual bid on a dummy sale is only 6.005 - looks like we need a maflsooner more than maflator if we're going to avoid the 5s :-(

Everyone knows this is oversold but many will be waiting on the sidelines to ensure they catch the absolute bottom before topping up/buying in. There seems to be robust support at this level and once a recovery gets under way I'd expect people to jump on board fairly swiftly so they don't miss the rise. As a result this could take off fairly dramatically once it gets going. The longer it lingers around this level the greater the confidence people will have that it's only going one way from here, but in any case the rise will likely take many by surprise!

I don't believe they will have got *any* cash MV, but rather just that the value of the company they are invested in increased... in order to monetise that they'd surely have to dispose of some or all of their 49% stake???

Without ongoing buying interest it's not possible to achieve a sustained rise and now we've had the big LS news there's little on the horizon to entice new investors. We're not due a NAV update until Feb/Mar next year & even then it's not unheard of for companies to trade significantly below, particularly when they are as illiquid as MAFL.

What's needed imho is some PR to raise awareness.

In the meantime I have to admit I'm yet to be convinced we've seen the bottom, but hey - here's hoping!

The drop is to be expected imho, particularly following suspension...

Don't know whether it's just my reading of it but the RNS seems pretty clear that we're looking for a possible JV rather than an outright sale at LS, so it could be quite some time before any kind of return is seen???

My own expectations have been significantly adjusted since AF's departure... he will have been privy to all the behind the scenes fine detail & if there had been something game-changing on the horizon there is no way he would have left imho???

Also, even though the drill results looked really good I'm well aware that we lack the expertise to properly evaluate the commercial viability... if it was truly exceptional then there would surely be a queue of prospective buyers/partners eager to secure their stake???

I'm sure we'll see some sort of rise on news of a JV or something with CAP, but when, from what level and to what extent is anyone's guess and, particularly considering the established historical pattern of 'sell on news' here, I can't see it holding. It is what it is I guess and only time will tell..

Having been a company director for more than 20 years I strongly disagree. Timely accounts are a fundamental legal requirement of all companies and there is absolutely no excuse. The resultant suspension is an extremely serious sanction and indicative of very poor company management. It is a great shame that many AIM companies apparently fail to take their responsibilities seriously.

Sorry 6z, just sick of the contempt many AIM companies show for good company practice &, perhaps naively, expected better of MAFL

I've got a month to chill out, & will no doubt forgive them if all comes good, but it does nothing for confidence in the company.

There is absolutely no excuse for failing to submit accounts on time, hence the suspension.

My main concern is that a new broker often precedes a placing... I've no idea what their cash position is since completing the drills but would have thought they'd wait for a higher SP if game-changing news was on the horizon???
