I've had my motives here questioned repeatedly with any explanation dismissed out of hand; however I believe you are sincere and will do my best to 'explain myself' , although I consider it unsatisfactory in a public forum that anyone should have to....
Like most people my interests extend beyond my work, although many are related to it. Beyond trading I have an understandable interest in financial markets and all things related. The perceived value of gold, and its continued economic influence are noteable. As the director of an IT company for more than 20 years I have retained a keen interest in technology, especially with regard to Blockchain. Compliance has also featured heavily in my professional life and so the idea of an FCA approved, gold-backed cryptocurrency naturally captured my imagination. Although I would not currently consider myself an investor (in any share), I nevertheless have an interest in fundamentals and the mechanics of conducting business and so was more than happy to assist a friend in the process of 'due dillegence' regarding Lionsgold as a potential investment. That work was completed some time ago, yet it uncovered certain things that I wish to investigate further, purely as it interests me, as does the process of research 'for its own sake' which I believe requires no justification.
The process of due diligence is essentially to question things, which I guess will inevitably be interpreted by some as negativity; however I believe my contributions to the board to be neutral. I, and others who have dared to deviate from the rose-tinted, head-in-the-sand narrative, have received much personal abuse. The fact that the share is suspended should satisfactorily answer the unfounded accusations of an agenda, yet the hostility remains.
As I have said many times, a sound investment can withstand any level of scrutiny and uncensored debate is surely in everybody's best interest?
