Thanks for the update Luddite . Looks like it is ticking up again , which is always welcome. I think you should be ok with your buy and I would hope for 700+ in 2018. If they manage to restructure the Staff Pension scheme , it should provide substantial financial benefits to IAG, I have no doubt. The addition of the Monarch slots should also add to the bottom line this coming year. Let's see how it goes. GL

Be interested to hear what your findings are re-the buy back and candlestick movement Luddite. I couldn't understand the buy back offer of 20 -1000 either BUT I understand there are people accepting it , which is even stranger .

Agree with your comments Luddite, especially about greedy Directors . Far be it from me to suggest this has anything to do with Walsh increasing the value of his options. No dount he claims back his withholding tax, being based in Spain. I find the situation regarding the withholding tax particularly unfair to be honest.

I am hearing that they are contacting staff who hold small numbers of shares to ask if they wish to sell them. Not sure if they are doing the same with non staff shareholders.

Thanks Luddite Upside is good and personally I think it deserves to be above 700 . I think this is a great share, I'll have to get into shorting, then I won't get so annoyed when it drops ! Still looking for plenty of upside in this , with the usual , occasional drops.

No explanation for the drop from 680 ? Quite bizarre. EZJ almost fully recovered from a similar drop while IAG struggling ....... Undervalued SP and PE .....very odd.

he seems to think that Level will be at the front of the queue for Monarchs slots because they are a new airline. Apparently new airlines are given preference.

What I don't understand in the article is that they say 180m has been allocated for 955 redundancies. That's approximately �188,481 each !!! That's a lot of very expensive redundancy payments .......who is getting them ?

always an interesting share to watch. Just like IAG can have substantial movement in direction, providing opportunities. I don't hold EZJ but have to say I like the share. GLA
