I fear Chid is a very confused individual. The fact that he holds only Lloyds shares but posts on the CBG chat says a lot. I can imagine him also posting on the AstraZeneca chat because somehow in his head there is a link between Lloyds and AstraZeneca. Chid, under the UK political system the government can overrule a Supreme Court decision by passing legislation through parliament. That is because under the UK system, Parliament is sovereign. Therefore in the unlikely event the Supreme Court confirms the Court of Appeals ruling the government can override it by pass a new law.

Chid why don't you tell us a story about something that is in no way relevant to Close Brothers. But please tell it in a long winded way. The size of the short position in CBG is growing. Today it was disclosed that Millennium Capital has taken a 0.5% short position. Total short position is now 5.6%. This is now interesting. And likely to get very painful for the shorts very soon.
