The government has been warned by Serica and other companies that any further tax hikes and they will up sticks and move to another country. Today's statement from the government clearly shows that they have got the picture. This is positive news. Further tax increases are now off the table.

Stock is getting smashed today. Despite the sold results recently and the fast improving outlook for the sector.

Maybe it is because Ameriprise Financial are trying to sell the remainder of their stake in the company. The last RNS said they still had 2.7%

Guess we need to wait for Ameriprise Financial to sell the remainder of their 2.7% stake before we get the next move up. A year ago they had over 9% but have been selling down since.

I warned long ago that the CEO was a moron and the company on a fast track to administration.

On April 18th we had a positive trading statement from the Rank. But the shares only moved higher after a line of over 20m shares was traded in the 70p region on April 29th. Then after this seller was cleared the shares rose to the mid-90p region. It was at this time that Guoline increased their holding to 60pct from 57pct.

Clearly there is a large block of shares which is about to be sold at a pre-agreed price in the 70-75p region. The same thing happened in April

Feels like there is a big seller who is about to be cleared. As was the case back in April when that line of 23m shares was sold at 70p to the major shareholder. After that it moved up to over 90p.
