My question is how does this play out from here? In early October, the FCA will launch their consultation with the industry. They plan to have this wrapped up by the end of the year and for firms to start paying compensation in early 2026. But what if lenders like CBG refuse to co-operate? How does it play out? How do lenders like CBG register their non cooperation? What does the FCA do as a response? Can the FCA compel a certain redress scheme on lenders?

A 68p dividend on the current CBG share price of 492p would put the shares on a 14% dividend yield. Lloyds currently has a 4.2% dividend yield while Natwest has a 5.4% dividend yield.

Chid is a moron. I bet he does not hold a single share in Lloyds let alone 200k worth. He is one of those people who is seldom right but never in doubt. The bloke who will bore you into submission at a family get together. Although he is a minicab driver he feels himself a specialist on may topics including economics and investments. You walk away from a conversation with him wondering what is your point mate and wish you could have that time back. The only reason he posts here is that is family long ago learned it is best to ignore anything he says. When CBG re-rating to 900p he will tell us he was right all along but also warn there are still some hedge funds short and one should never bet against hedge funds because they know everything.

Chid is strange and useless soul. He has been negative on CBG since 200p and then when it rose above 500p he said he had been right all along. He then continues to spread negative stories about CBG. An utterly useless soul he is like a parachute made of lead.

Guys, Chid is a Russian troll. He is some sad case living in some village outside Rostov on Don (probably in an intimate relationship with his sister) and he is paid to spread “disinformation”. Because the banks are a key part of the economy they have decided to try to undermine the sector by spreading “subtle” disinformation. “Subtle” Russian style has had comic results on this board. But you can tell from the syntax that Chid is using Google translate (badly). The Russians are so useless. It has taken them 3 years to take 15pct of Ukraine. At this rate they will be in Calais in 2095.

I do not want to be disrespectful to Russians but Chid via has many messages really betrayed a peasant way of thinking. And of course the vast majority of Russians are peasants purely because industrialisation came to late to this country.
