Worth checking the ongoing situation with Warrego Energy in Australia. At one point 3 bidders were in the mix:

Beach, Strike and the aforementioned Han****.

Seems the bidders are mainly pursuing the gas assets in Western Australia, yet Han**** seem also interested in the Tesorillo project near Cadiz.

Hold a few PXEN and they partner Tesorillo with Warrego.

As you say, Han**** are cash rich (though much of the war chest appears to have come from iron ore extraction not gas). Partnering with another co with deep pockets seems attractive when beginning from scratch though I gather the costs involved with onshore are a fraction compared to offshore. Plus the proximity of Guercif to the Maghreb pipeline.

Anyway the pertinent point is that onshore gas assets are hot and in demand.

That drop merely served to complete a classic bull flag pattern. Gives the SP legs for another 20p rise from here methinks.

Have to say it looks that way. No dip below 9p.

Looks weak on the technical indicators:

• MACD crossed over and heading down into negative territory.

• Stochastics pointing down.

• RSI below 50.

Heading under 9p imho.

And NT for 100k+

Just bounced off where the upper Bollinger Band intersects the 100d sma. Looks like support.

Hedging aside, that price could be an extra £28m FCF per anum.
Today the P/E at 4.75, equates to an extra £133m on the market cap. Put another way - 30% on the SP from here.

We'll see of course but once again this looks decent.
