The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
At this point there will be some LSH on here rubbing their hands together like Del Boy and saying "This time next year we'll be millionaires "!
Congrats to them. I'd happily settle for enough cash to turn my one bed flat into a 2 bed maisonette ??
Steak and champagne for breakfast m8!
Same here at 145.
Tilsiests of the world unite!!! :)
TILS sp end of the day before we hit the main market? I'm gonna hazard a guess at 149.5p, but purely because that puts me a hair into profit on my ISA holding ;)
Hoping for that COVID-19 trial results meat-on-the-bones RNS the day we launch to push us back over the £2 mark :)
What do you all think?
A lot better than I'd expected. Particularly like the fact the recently implemented delivery service via JustEat is already accounting for 5.5% of sales in the quarter. Definitely a growing area for the business in the future too. Can't wait for snoop to include Sausage Rolls in his next rap advert!
Thinking 1500p then take profits? Good company but sp has peaks then drops away a ton so buy back opportunity exists a month later. Thoughts from LTS?
That steaks gonna be pulsating for a late lunch after the NYSE opens!
As a T212 user, the answer to that is still unknown! I'm due a (for me) massive 1000 shares in Accustem but might just end up with the sales price on the day they launch if they can't get their act together.
I'll be buying Accustem if that is the case as long term after the market for the drug has been established I think it will be bought out for several times the sp at the point of the bid as big pharma will see the potential
I'd be more than happy with £1.05 before Xmas. Just being 25% under water would be a delight!
Considering those businesses were profitable would I be correct in presuming they will bring in a wad of cash as well as reduce our outgoings which in turn will increase our margins? As advising on margin reduction seems to have led to the sp dropping am hoping this is the catalyst to push it back up to at least late October prices.
Key part of the message put first on the RNS:
Resilient trading performance post reopening, pubs outperformed market*** by 7%
· Full year 2020 sales impacted by the 15-week closure of pubs from the end of March
· Q4 like-for-like sales** 90% of 2019, 7% ahead of UK pub sector***
· Guest satisfaction scores up 11% compared to pre COVID-19 levels
· Strong off-trade performance in Beer Company with volumes up 23%
Better than I thought they would be!!
Not sure why this is a big deal? It's good for Directors to buy but this smacks of a token offering to offset BOD criticism following the all fart no poo update last week without so much as an RNS to back up the contention of the move off of AIM to the main market.
If really intent on propping up the sp and moving it up with confidence he would have bought just under 1%. The volume purchased doesn't decrease the float significantly so won't have any impact on the sp.
Yep, once again the investors update was all fart no poo - lots of noise but nothing meaningful to follow (not even an RNS to re-state the position for those that couldn't be bothered to listen to it).
Not been in investing long enough to know for sure but told there's usually an uplift in share prices during the two weeks heading into the New Year, largely due to sentiment. If that's the case we can't be far away from hitting the giddy heights of 120p all over again?! Be lovely to get my 'paper' losses back to a mere 30% ;)
The saying "no news is good news" certainly applies to the start of trials. When there's early news it's always bad... However, with just three weeks to run you may well have hit the nail on the head BMO3
Markygee, not sure that pulling out of AIM before Xmas is possible as I believe the notice period is in working days? However, there is time to start the New Year with a bang as if effective from tomorrow the final day on AIM would be 31st December!!
More music to the ears of investors with profits, margins, EPS, dividends and ROCE all well up despite the obvious challenges of the COVID-19 period and a few outbreaks. Great job by the BOD!! Definitely expecting to hit all-time highs in the coming months with Xmas being a key part of the most profitable quarter
Seems like a market overreaction. Good point t to get in as even if it grows back slowly it will be profit
Ex-dividend date 26/11. Could see a rise into it. Yesterday was a funny day market wide with everything dropping before getting closer to the Tuesday closing prices. Should see a rally today and a truer picture on where this sp is heading?
Wow. Music to the ears of investors. EVERYTHING is way up :)
£4.75 soon?
February ex-dividend date officially amended to 18th from 20th on late RNS
Results are gonna be good and with the (hugely
increased) dividend announced then no reason for the market to not react positively.
£4 on Thursday with a re-rating due as well?
