Purely down to everything dropping in the sector I'd have thought. That said, we don't get a NAV update very often here so who knows whether it's still 20% discount to NAV now. Guess we'll find out end of November but if the price starts to rise, someone knows something!
We'd be delighted if it reached even the reduced broker target!
Lovely to see my old employer of my first 18 years starting to do well again. My soft spot for them continues, as does my habit of a full food basket on Sunday mornings :)
Hopefully they'll bring back the dividend soon!
Those price targets are like a 50mph speed limit during motorway roadworks whilst sat in a traffic jam. Aspirational but unlikely to be reached anytime soon ;)

Also, expect a positive update from fund manager M&G next week, says UBS, with the Swiss bank forecasting a significant increase in first-quarter net inflows into its wholesale (retail) asset management business.
Based on Morningstar data, UBS estimates net fund flows of £4.4bn during the first quarter compared to net inflows of £0.5bn over the whole of 2022.
Even allowing for a large institutional mandate, net inflows are still predicted to be £3bn by the broker, with total AUM to be £350bn.
From the weekends look at the week on ProActive https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/1016822/week-ahead-bat-s-new-boss-house-prices-and-firstgroup-strike-impact-1016822.html
Anyone know if the factory was damaged from the earthquake?
Very positive. Expecting to see £20 fairly soon
What a wonderfully run company this is. Oh and the food and drinks offering is pretty damn good too! Got in it a couple of years ago after advice was given to buy what I know on my first foray into the stock market and I still have no intention of selling, especially with dividends back on the menu.
Could simply be profit taking as hit its peak on NY's eve and market sentiment then turned to start the year? This price was last seen in mid-July and the dip start of October so somewhat of a five fingered discount...
NB: This was the number 3 tip in Investors Chronicle in the 'Best of British' category for 'Ideas of the Year'. Also was tipped in 2021 and total return was 28.9%. Not bad!
Andrew Hore, The editor of The AIM Journal and winner of last years Proactive Investors share tips competition for 2021 has tipped this company this year. (Last year his tip, SkinBioTherapeutics, finished +158% & was +300% at the halfway stage but am sure no one would have been complaining at the finish)
This is what he says about his new tip for 2022: “Cordel, previously known as Maestrano, has developed software-as-a-service services using LiDAR (Light Distance and Ranging) technology, which can significantly cut the cost of rail track inspections. It has already won contracts in Australia, the UK, Japan and North America, where the potential is enormous. Arden expects Cordel to move into profit in the year to June 2023. At 11.5p, that could put the shares on 16 times prospective earnings with potential to fall to three the following year. The forecasts could be optimistic, but there is no doubt that momentum is building up.”

Hells bells! Have taken a bit of profit but the rest is dwindling. That low would be a loss so getting out now then looking to get back in at around £5 when the brakes are finally on and reversal coming
Some really, really nice results. Climbing to ATH by Xmas?
almost to the penny! Should see it revert back to moving up slowly in due course. Nothing wrong with the company or its execution.
Nah. Just start of build up to 13th September results and FTSE doing well today.
Any chance of activist shareholders involvement with this shower of poop once it delists solely to NASDAQ? Could really do with someone taking this BOD to task and putting a rocket up their jacksy to stick to their own schedules! Could help us now long suffering shareholders but they'd probably miss that deadline too...
Clearly their IT person is as competent as their PR person...
I wouldn't give either a gun without calling ahead to A&E (that's ER to our US cohort!) to let them know to expect a victim with a self inflicted gunshot wound to their foot :(
Tuned into this on Zoom tonoght but the moment the Q&A was due to start it cut off completely and now there's nothing more than a video of the event replaying up to that cut-off point.
Was anybody able to stay in and hear whether any questions were actually answered?
Great job. Obliterated H1 2019 profits and EPS!! £29 here we come!
We confirm a dividend in the 7am RNS, that should prove a catalyst for a big jump out the gates to over 2900p even if the price doesn't hold
