BB, sadly I think you're right.
The presence of a Tory Lord on their board gives me pause as to our chances even if our product is far superior. If the announcement on take home is made after the SpectrumX IPO is something about to be rotten in the state of Denmark? It's strange how so long has passed post-bid with no news on appointments
Never heard of them but they are IPO'ing soon.
They are touting an inhalation treatment for COVID-19 and make mention specifically of the same grant bid we have made with the UK Government. Cheeky buggers say on their website they believe it's better than Synairgen (but smartly don't mention Tiziana!). Other thing I noted was they have Lord Shrewsbury, a serving member of the House of Lords from the Conservative party on their board...
Lots on here with medical knowledge so any idea how this stacks up against Foralumab and our bid?
https://spectrumx.com/spectrumx-medical-limited/
Yep, certainly underpins the reasons the share price has shot up
Is it because like everything this government has contracted during the pandemic, it's not WHAT you know but WHO you know that determined successful bids even for ineffective/inferior products?
Well, Tilsiests all know what Tils have, but who does the government know with major skin (shares) in our game?
Presumably Accustem will be producing a prospectus prior to launch to drum up some interest? Investors who aren't getting shares from the spin-off will want to know about projections for sales/profit, etc not just what the products are. Nothing on the Accustem website yet...
Must be due an answer from UK-CTAP about that grant. Maybe a positive answer and a massive trial of a take home spray will be the catalyst for a turnaround of the sp?
Hope you're right Supercharger, had shares here since last July and all they've done is go down a third!
I guess what we're all interested in is the price seeing as several brokers are selling them and giving us the money rather than the shares
The stupid buggers tweet it all the time when talking about Tesla!
Signs of life in the old dog again, eh? About bloody time!

I gave the first 14 full-time working years of my life to this company, mainly working in the Store Development group until taking redundancy in 2004 when the walls came crashing down after profits more than halved and my department was cut by nearly two thirds.
Since then, though I've kept my shares through loyalty - and trust me, it remains strong with long-time employees - and lost a considerable amount of money by doing so, I've often felt we lacked a cohesive plan. Especially with regard to the older stores in smaller High Street locations where P&L has been an issue for decades dating back to when I worked with the Store Planning team in the early 2000's. Now it seems we have a good plan so a meaningful way forward (Store rotation) is finally being looked upon.
I very much doubt we'll ever see the days of being a £1b profit company again but the demise in recent years has hit me in the heart and after the disaster of the pandemic I feared more of a slash and burn approach to stock transformation that would hurt the communities M&S had been a part of for in some cases over 100 years.
Delighted to think in years to come a return to profitability and continuation of the rise and rise of (in particular) M&S Food will see the business strengthen and its position as a behemoth in the UK retail sector will continue.
Onwards and upwards!
Has the rush to make money and promote the company by attaching the Covid-19 'tag' to products not developed for its treatment taken the focus away from their intended purpose? Sure seems that way if the pipeline targets are slipping.
At this point, the Accustem shares - when they finally do arrive - will do little more than offset the paper losses on TILS stock.
Been in the red with this stock practically every day since I bought them a year ago to the day. Kept it for the dividends and hope I might break even before selling. Now looks like the new CEO appointment last July has started to grow the business again and created an upside to holding it. Good stuff!
Hopefully as the recent bleeding in the markets dries up and things return to "the new normal" the good, well run businesses such as NEX will see their performance rewarded with a rising share price for their shareholders. Things certainly looking positive!
Finally launched in US after delays in FDA approval. Should see a small bounce up in the sp but more importantly in the future profits of the company. Big market cap for asthma drugs.
Care to guesstimate the sp by Friday? ;)
What more could we actually expect from results than this? The way forward has been identified and its a strong, well run business. Plenty of pent up travel demand and lots of contracts. Those investing rather than trading have no concerns about the future.
Definitely is when the two drugs involved are pictured in the article below and are clearly labelled "intravenous use only"

Spiked up, came down sharply. I've long since given up looking at after hours as a clue to the days trading in the USA. Many times seen astronomical rises in pre-market seconds before the buzzer disappear the minute the market opens so retail traders jump in to an immediate loss situation.
