Hi Mike, I bought at 188p 7 days ago. May have done wrong but could'nt resist selling this morning at 205.5 for a profit of 8.9 % in a week, plus I bagged yesterdays dividend. I bought for a long term steady hold with good divs so am hoping for a small drop to go back in again. Hopefully I will get a chance in the next 3 or 4 months but who knows I reckon this is a great share for Income ISA's

Bought this a few weeks ago as hopefully a solid income play for my ISA. and I got lucky as it has risen nicely from 190p . Strangely after going ex div yesterday its up another couple of % this morning. Anybody heard anything ?

To be fair, GLIF is very, very active in an expanding market of Alternative lending and funding, As long as it keeps spreading risk across many investments, funds and platforms etc all should be fine. YES ................80p would be VERY, VERY good but at 50p with a near 10% Divi I'm not to fussed. This could end up being another BRIT ! .......anyway a great holding for income seeking ISA holders !

Hi Mistermister Tate are actually moving out of Sugar and into specialist sweeteners, additives etc so NOT so reliant on the Sugar price as once was. They have been digging in, cost cutting and diversifying for the last 3 years. I honestly think they have stabalized and bottomed out share price wise and would now seem to be a good income play......good luck lummox

Purchased Tate & Lyle some while ago as a ' good prospect ' for my income ISA. Now just about level after a rough few months. Considering the market of late T & L has been very positive and resilient even before these latest broker updates. Perhaps it has at last levelled out and back on the way up. Anyway the near 5% dividend seems to offer good support ?

And with the market down a hefty 10 % or so in recent days this share has gone nowhere lower, apart from giving up a few pence because its gone ex div !!

26 /3 /13 82p -- 26/3/15 92p thats 12% in 2 years + 2 annual divs of a little over 4% . 20% return in 2 years , sorry but nothing to be sneezed at. Steady up & down but slowly rising. Looks fine to me

.......................Oh yes 1Bigrobbo you are absolutely right !! If ever there was a stock totally aligned and linked to the oil price it is certainly this well known resource stock PHOENIX GROUP !! .....................LOL

A Rise of 18 % in a little over 2 months is hardly stagnating. Wish my other holding were all ' stagnating ' to this degree !!

Well less than a year later these shares are still performing ! CHUNKY Dividends re-invested. Good price action. Plenty of bid and rumour in the ' closed life ' sector, and now solid BROKER update concensus . A SOLID HOLD and bedrock in my ISA

Yep bit of a double edged sword ! Made 28 % clear profit on this in my ISA in only a few months , but lost a nice steady big divi payer which I was hoping to collect for 4 or 5 years ! Airdrie ............have a look at PHOENIX group . Good divi and quite a bit of potential ! Good luck all you BRITS its been a good ride ................short but sweet !

Well I've had a little dabble at 12.35p so we shall see !

Obviously this share has taken a hammering this year ............and if you were in at 30p or anywhere thereabouts you must be pig sick.........I know how you feel ( Netplay TV ! ) That said with the market dropping 450 points this really seems stable having not dropped anymore and stayed around the 13p mark for 2 weeks. The bottom ? at last . Might be worth a little investment now ?
