Fully underwritten means they have guarantees from large institutions to take up any surplus rights that are not " bought " by shareholders. Basically it means the rights issue is guaranteed to succeed subject to any takeover problems / panel etc
To be fair to Woodford Velo, you are talking over a very relative short period. Woodford has taken a position in the market at present which when it unwinds may be seen as genius or folly. But looking at this over 12 months or so is hardly fair. Lets see how his funds look after a further 3 to 4 years. Most fund managers agree 5 years is a fair and shortest time to measure relative performance. GLTA lummox
Well I got out at 5.60 some time ago, expecting it to drop back ...it did'nt ! it rushed up to around 6.20 and to be honest stayed high for along time and I thought I had missed the boat. Now it has given up 15 to 20 % very quickly. Any one know why ? and is it time to get back in ? Before I have been very positive on Zytronic but am starting to wonder
Surprise ..Surprise he followed me all over LSE because I dared to disagree with his ramblings. He is still sitting on MASSIVE losses if his posts were / are to be believed when buying loads and loads of TESCO at all prices from 4.00 down. Oh dear !! He will be back with the merits of Nappy Changing facilities soon !
As previously document on this forum on and at the date of Sale. I luckily got out of TESCO over 4 years ago at a very very small profit. You have many many documented purchases going back at least 6 years. You ...if you were telling the truth have Massive, Massive losses which in no way would be redressed by a few quid if you happened to buy one lot during the dated period
The facts are that if you took an average price over the last 5 or 3 years or less TESCO is still on a Downward spiral and all this with NO Dividends. As I have pointed out to Opium politely but firmly numerous times over the last 5 years. The investment case for TESCO did not, does not and will not stack up now or in the immediate future ( at least next 3 years ) No doubt he will reply with his usual childish rants BUT this is the plain fact of being invested in TESCO Avoid there is MORE PAIN to come !
I've been in this from £1.76. Its given a great return over the last 4 years or so. Capital Reduction flexibility just been granted, but I still wonder if something is going on ? Jumped another 2.5 % in early trading this morning. Drifted a little since but still well up
The discount has widened to its largest for years, yet the underlying asset value has been performing well. With a hefty dividend and the discount almost sure to narrow back to its mean somewhen in the next couple of years this looks a very good income buy on a 2 to 3 year view
