He (BH) has been pretty punctual so far, actually he's plodding on ahead of schedule and under budget, so it may be time for a speculative rise soon. I don't see the SP being kind enough to go back to 0.2198p for my sakes now. However since it's red, and a red day, I can only imagine that this be accused of being a drop soon.
The market maker is there to provide liquidity, not manipulate share prices.
This board baffles me sometimes, just to put a little summary together, we’ve been told that we actually have an increased strike length, we are potentially hitting a dyke system, we have Anglo American stating they see the future as copper to which we have a buy back agreement. We estimate we may now have 6mt when we only needed 2mt of copper... the copper price has gone up so the cut off for commercial viability is lower, with potentially a lot more resources available and yet we still complain despite being told we are now expecting batches. CB has also personally fed the golden goose twice and we still have PIs with weak hands. I get that assays and jorcs are incredibly important, but at what point does intrinsic value come into this, even the samples and historic data suggest we have this. :S
Looks like I may be paying off my mortgage before I turn 30 at this rate :p
I feel like i've let myself down by not buying a few million more shares few weeks ago when the price was 0.2198p. I'm beginning to question if it's going to return to that point, I don't think there is enough time before the news flow now for that to happen, we seem to be clinging to the 0.23-0.25p area quite consistently now. Probably because Alyhels keeps commenting....
I’m conflicted now, I was going to suggest a small retreat tomorrow as well given we are above the moving average with no truly material news yet, but the Mascot has a track record for causing the share price to go higher... tough call now.
Noted Apro, just revisiting the RNS from the 16th April, between West Ridge and Omco we have 5 holes left before moving towards Rockhouse, if the remainder of Olympic looks good, where do you think we will be with the SP?
It would be nice to get an update on plans for RH (unless there is some and I'm being blind) since we probably have just under a month of Olympic left.
Ahh so this I take this sub is now helping CB find his pitched tent! I'm not sure how rewarding this endeavour will be!
I haven't checked in for a while with this one. Are we still on course for proving up 2mt at about 0.2%cu and above?
I figured it was probably close to Assay time about now also.. but I see the word 'Imminent' is treading again.
If we get a jv, especially with the links to GGP and Newcrest, then we I imagine we will get a lot of spillover, 2p is reasonable for the year, but this particular JV would shoot us past that, probably on 4-5p region on giddy excitement.
I think the drilling campaign in the main focus now, it is what will attract a JV and move the SP. What would you expect to hear from an RNS about spoil heaps, I imagine we would only hear something at certain milestones as they progress through it all.
Anyone got any expectations for the West Ridge and Omco Extension?
I'm good with this, the dore bar is long gone, as explained we can't get an accurate picture of spoil heaps from one dore bar. Anything to come from that regarding grades etc would be potentially misleading, good or bad.
Thankfully penny stocks don't tend to move with the general movement of the market. Just a thought process... as the drop is mainly caused by inflation rates increasing and interest rate fears, the link between market fears, inflation and gold should move the gold price higher? So we may enjoy a short term rise in gold prices making what we mine worth all the more.
Just a hope.
My expectations are that we will move between 0.22p and 0.25p until news comes out. Hopefully news soon.
I think comparison is very difficult, usually you pick a neighbour in the same jurisdiction, that may be slightly further ahead rather than the other side of the world, but at the same time our most recent directorate change took on Gemma Cryan who came from Greatland Gold. I suspect there must be something in the ground to take on experts from previous big discoveries and maybe some parallels and JV discussions to be drawn and had. My own thoughts, not advice, i'm sure i'll get a battering from the chat groups de-rampers soon.
I don't get why people without shares in the company decide to keep coming back here...
Alyhels and Riseagain are both back, I'm expecting a really good Monday now, they've proven to be good for the share price in the past :).
I'm hoping its a hint that we are about to go concave up.
The stock market is merely a mechanism for delivering money from impatient to patient. The share price has started heading up since BH took over, the company is getting its act together and processing tailings, as well as drilling. The historics grades of the company look good, our tailings are commercial. We just need to sit tight for now. Daily/weekly aren't anything to worry about. What we need is official news and that could be around late May - June, I think that was quoted as the possible time frame in one of the Interactive Investor interviews. Outside of that copper is projected to keep on raising on the back of the strong demand as it feeds into Global Green initiatives, electrification and the EV market. Last I saw JP Morgan suggested $11,000 by the end of the year. Really as long as the price keeps rising, the less copper we need. Even if we don't target copper now, as long as the price keeps going up, the amount in the ground won't change, so the less we need and the more it becomes worth.
What you call a drop, anyone looking over the past 6 months would call the weekly/monthly SP range.
