Good spot!
The new version of the test was quoted as May, but that in theory could be next week or as you say could have delivered sooner.
I am sure there was a mention of the new version being used in 2 hospitals, think it was the Chartwell update?
Thinking out loud but could this be one of the reasons we havent had US sales data yet? Depending on how it is reported/delivered if it was TF the numbers would surely let the cat out of the bag. Equally if TF update their test to the new method, didnt Trump hint at that? Will need to go back and find that info...
HUGE jump but maybe US figures being held back and will be delivered alongside news of TF taking a stake or a bid?
Would it be a stretch if this theory is right to say that if TF bought Quiagen that an acquisition of NCYT would consolidate their diagnostics arm?
Fantastic research Sandman and would explain a few of the issues about the TF.....
I agree. If this new test is being used in NHS hospitals then now this has been in the briefings I wouldnt be surprised to get an update in the morning. The question is whether it will include any sales figures.
It is coming up to a month since last sales update, a lot of orders will have been placed in that time
I am sure I read last night that hydroxychloroquine also hasnt shown benefit in trials. That is two of the big treatments that have been given the most publicity and I believe both are in the Recovery trial?
Not good news treatment wise, lets hope this fares better and all eyes start to turn to SNG...
Jarv55 I have had that same thought. My understanding of an OEM is exactly that, the tests would be rebranded as their own. Very strange we havent had any further update on it, although understandably may be non disclosure agreements in place?
I actually think the price has held well at this level, which is positive given the rise from a week ago.
The market obviously wants sales figures, and given they are due I think you will actually see a rise this afternoon as FOMO if the RNS lands late afternoon or first thing Monday.
I think most agree the numbers are likely to be good, and you dont want to be out when it lands. But each to their own strategy, gla
Wow just seen these, rough tally is close to £1m delayed buys from yesterday... in addition to the ones from the day before if its the same buyer we should see a TR1 shortly. VERY confident buying, follow the money!
Fantastic RNS today, but what is equally amazing is the juicy details that are still to come
- GM mentioned a few weeks back that would update on US sales and OEM
- Update on NHS sales
- Update on overall sales
- Details of the new Middle East partnerships
- Update on where AZN and GSK fit into all of this, how are they helping as no mention of them here..
All of the recent RNS' seem to whet the appetite with the promise of a Michelin star worthy main course to follow and possibly dessert! And you know it could arrive at any time so too risky to leave the table!
GLA for tomorrow
