AFS for FY24 should be out by mid-November, so we may get 3 RNSs in the next month or so (trading update, AFS and possibly the PDetectors), plus any new deals released during this interval. Just IMO

Fred1boy, new stock was around 1.5bln shares, daily volume is 10-20mln shares; new investors came in NOT for the 10-20% return, but for the 1000% return that might be possible in 2-3 years; therefore, although there is plenty of overhang and potential profit taking from 0.20 as the SP rises, most of these guys are here for the big bucks; so APTA needs to deliver, and then the SP will rise, overhang or no overhang. IMO

GLA, we'd expect a trading update in early November plus a possible RNS on Pathogen detectors in conjunction with MSYS in 1-2 weeks.

Would someone close to Mgt buy small increments and slowly build a stake at 3p (on no news), or would he/she tell all his mates and they all pile in and thus drive the SP up?

The surge will come when there is a wide leak IMO.

MSYS was suspended soon after for late AFS' filing; now (by end of Oct) shares will resume trading on AIM and MSYS announced y'day that with Interims for H1 24 will also issue a trading Statement that will include news about the "commercialisation of the PD (pathogen detector)"; the PD uses APTA's aptamers so it may have some impact.

Ant, AIM trading resumption rests on 1) 2023 AFS release (done) AND 2) Interims released.

Interims are unaudited and therefore solely dependent on Management taking responsibility for accuracy (hence, G Brandon's shenanigans in 2022); CO House filing is not directly related to trading resumption;

Interims were due on 30 Sept (for H1 24) but as the AFS 2023 were delayed, this affected their release too; Mgt said by end of Oct, so just 1-2 weeks left; Trading statement too, so IMO Mgt will want trading resumption to start with a bang so they will load all "positive" developments this year into this Trading statement e.g. good news too about the PD (pathogen detector).

A lot of cash was spent since January, not justified by running exps so I suspect this was spent on product development/commercialisation. I think the Mgt is aware that Co is running out of time to reverse all the bad events of the past 2 years.

I am optimistic that the Trading statement will be the start of this reversal - GLA!

It'd be very interesting to see where they have spent 1.6mln or so (incl. tax rebate) in 8 months; it's 200k pm, not far off the 250k pm old-type MSYS (fully staffed etc) was spending; if they invested most of this amount in new products/collaborations, it will be positive; optimist in me says that Interims + trading restart + news on "commercialisation of our novel Pathogen Detector" might be a pleasant surprise?

We can see that the Ask jumps when hidden BUYS take place (have taken place), and we will see these in a day or 2; Bid at 2.90, maybe close over 3p today. But SP rises little by little on NO NEWS so, the big jump still to come.

Yes, but IMO, they don't care about us punters; however, the Chairman and the other strategic investors (already invested for the past 5-10 years in KP2) want to make money soon (hence why Brad was kicked out last year) and probably want KP's mine in production before (among others) Nutrient's Jensen mine is up and running; KP2 will also need more money (equity portion of the project) from fresh investors, so obviously they need to be sure of timeframes and returns before investing.

Btw, around mid-October we'd also get the Q3 Oper. update, so hopefully some news by then/or simultaneously!

I think $7-8mln spent (2mln already repaid to it from KP2, 3mln next year) is peanuts for PChina; more important to it is to start the $1.5BLN project and also, run the mine operations (BTW, this was supposed to be decided in July);

I reckon there is no competitor right now as it's already spent 2 years on this, so just wait to see if the October end estimate by KP2 will be kept, this time. IMO, stakes are too high for Chinese to pull out. President Xi wouldn't like it!
