Note that China economy is heading for deflation, US rates coming down this week etc, so it's a good time to start a capital-intensive project.

Just realised that this is important IMO; Omanis are shareholders, so more money they invest, more we get diluted; Emiratis are not s/holders so more money they put in, via probably Offtake, less dilution for us, hence bigger the upside.

BTW, where are you basing "Signing ceremony expected in Brazzaville early Oct."?

This is great news actually, if realised; signing in the next 4-5 weeks, and financing by early December latest; gonna be a happy Xmas! first time we hear also about the Emiratis' involvement, on top of the Omanis; makes the risk of getting the finance much much less.

Also, isn't this the first time ever that the "UAE" has been mentioned as part of the Financiers consortium? "Summit Consortium and UAE representatives also visited Beijing in August"...I think this is a very important new clue, as if to say that Financing is all but guaranteed and they wanted this made clear to the Chinese - IMO

Has anyone noticed this discrepancy in the RNS? At the top they state "Kore Potash and PowerChina commenced further detailed negotiations on the EPC proposal and draft EPC contract. The Company met senior PowerChina officials in Beijing in May 2024 and again in Dubai in July 2024, where both parties satisfactorily resolved ALL (my caps) outstanding commercial points."

Further down, they say "The Company met senior PowerChina officials in Beijing in May 2024 and again in Dubai in July 2024, where both parties satisfactorily resolved MOST (my caps) of the outstanding commercial points. Summit Consortium and UAE representatives also visited Beijing in August to facilitate resolution of any outstanding matters and accelerate signing of the EPC."

Lamp, assuming - if I m right - that the EPC will be a few hundred pages long, with a need for translation in Chinese and French (for the RoC govt), and the last visit in August to accelerate the resolution of any pending "commercial terms", I think only time is the issue; they specifically refer to commercial, rather than legal points, so....

Plus, for 2 years, they have mentioned signing n Q1, 2, 3 etc, WITHOUT talking about NOT having a plan B; now they explicitly say - no PLAN B, as we see no need for it.

They are saying, we have no plan B, because we expect the EPC to be signed;

in the past, they said nothing at all, because they were not certain; in that case, they would have said "we have a plan B and it's blablabla". IMO

IMO, this is the opposite of a red flag; 1st time it is mentioned; if current prob of signing is 100%, why need alt. arrangements? this is what the Co is saying, 100% ie definite.

The agreements are now, as at signing date of this half-year report, with the respective legal counsels of both parties for finalisation. When in final agreed form, Kore Potash and PowerChina will determine a date for a signing ceremony with the Minister of Mines and his colleagues of the RoC in Brazzaville. Relevant details of the agreement will be made public.

Devil is in the details Y000, if all goes well yes 5-10x; we've been waiting for ever, Summit concludes today if not mistaken, so all we need is to find the Minister of Mines! :) if he's in China, then we may well get news by Monday, latest. Of course, they could finalise everything there with the Chinese, but yet, arrange the signing in RoC (so we will be left waiting again!).

Chairman is Aussie so nearer to fly China than RoC; Chinese too will prefer Bejing than fly across to RoC.

Who knows? Maybe this was the plan all along - we will know by Monday, if so.
