I don’t concern myself with the SP or others buying or selling. I know what this is and where it’s going so just take every opportunity to buy. Just glad it’s dropped so low. It’s a gift if you understand the opportunity and uniqueness.

Would you bet against it Rusty?

I shared alaysis in here that was written for a company that were a serious interest. It suggests £500m within 3-5 years. No one seemed particularly interested and were annoyed that I put it in multiple messages!

Yeah, clearly the best move is to panic because I can’t buy right now. Maybe we’ll get a lovely dump into the 4s after a placing, because apparently every positive development is obviously fake. The ILiAD deal must be a total hoax, so obviously everyone should run for the hills immediately. And of course the FDA definitely didn’t create any shortcut by using HCT data, because nuance and regulatory detail are far less fun than shouting doom. Btw If you read this and were even slightly worried about your HVO investment you shouldn’t be investing anywhere!

Where’s this placing you first mentioned about a year ago and then subsequently every other time the SP went south?

You probably should have been buying when the BOD were in around 6.5p, rather than after a 40–50% move — especially if you’re trading short term.

You seem genuinely interested in the company, but at times it feels like sentiment and short-term price action are driving your decisions more than the underlying thesis.

Personally, I hold a core position and look for these dips to trade around it — trimming into strength and buying back on weakness to gradually build my position. From the outside, it looks like you’re often doing the opposite.

I thought securing the Illiad deal was your key signal for adding, but it now feels like your trigger is more about others buying in size — or reacting to selling — rather than sticking to that original marker.

As for the exec selling, there could be any number of reasons. Given his age and the fact he’s stepping down, it’s not hard to see why he might be de-risking.

At the end of the day, it’s best to ignore the noise — buy low, sell high, and don’t let emotion dictate your decisions.

Let it? Who’s letting it? It’s the market that will decide and I assure you it won’t decide the price is 4p whatever it decides at the time the MBO will be at least plus 25-50% of the SP.

No loves the biz and won’t let it go. MBO would keep them involved and invested but give them the flexibility to grow faster.

I didn’t think he’d have the nerve to ever show his face again knowing they now deffo don’t need a placing, unless of course some huge opportunity to acquire another strategic interest popped up. I guess he’s been so mentally broken by placings in companies he’s invested in the past that he just blurts it out like a Tourette’s victim.

Good. Whom ever is selling isn’t selling due to HVIVO’s performance. We continue to move forward. There’s no chance of a placing and every chance we get another insti investor or get bought out/MBO. EVERY!

They have to look at expansion soon!

The “this week” part is speculative the rest is highly likely given the CEO stated as much.

No need for hope. The Illiad raise is everything to do with getting their licensing via HVivo’s HCT’s. It’s both companies primary objective, hence why it will definitely happen.

Also the divs were paltry. They need to grow and us plebs don’t invest enough and are holding them back. This would be a much bigger mcap if it was the same biz in the US. Keep investing whilst the market is tight and small and reap the benefits in a few years time. Or MBO and take it private.

I’d happily run the company at 50% of their salary. I’m sure people would be thrilled at the savings maybe less so at my utter incompetence.

I appreciate that. It would make me nervous if I didn’t have the foresight of an industry expert to advise. Why would a supposedly knowledgable fund sell a supposedly good investment? Who knows. It’s a distraction though. Eyes on the fundamentals if you are long! Long in AIM is often dangerous with funding issues. Hence why we have people like STI often unfairly shouting “placing”. It’s fair in most cases maybe but I think HVO is quite different and recent form has confirmed that to even the strongest naysayers it seems!

It was a TO target by the Chinese a while back at a much higher SP so no doubt it will be getting the side eye now with so much going on.
