Can't help but think Kilroot Power station converted from coal to gas and supported by nearby IM gas storage facility which can at the right point transition to Hydrogen is a sensible way to deliver energy security and new zero.

Czech Republic seems to have other gas storage facilities and interconnections for gas. The caverns sold were not suitable for hydrogen storage I understand.

NI and ROI have no gas storage facilities and IM is understood to be suitable for hydrogen storage.

The Czech transaction is interesting but I certainly wouldn't expect it to be a strong reference for capping the IM valuation.

One of the world's top shipbuilding firms is building a 1.5 billion war chest to position itself to deliver warships for European and US markets and is looking for overseas locations to help deliver that.

It would seem sensible for H&W to have a conversation on this to understand if there was a business opportunity there. As a shareholder, I think that's reasonable.
