Serabi PLC owns CHAPLEAU MINERAL EXPLORATION LTDA, and the licence states it's for an exploration licence for a mine location in the Para state, which could be Coranga or Palito, for the next 3 years. The forward-looking statement could be that they are discussing licencing with potential partners keen to see the results of the tox study, or perhaps the initial findings seem so promising that the partner's bid is made public. Cash could be an issue, but given that private investors have enabled this tox study, I see no reason why they wouldn't extend further investment. I don't think the future is about less dependency on drugs. IBD is a complex disease, and it requires resilience to go through the treatment plan. So it's not either or but both. If patients drop out due to not being able to hack, the side effects and lifestyle changes required with drugs to see them through, then there is no treatment. Even if this is not an acquisition, it will get picked up by other IBD pharmas and even more healthcare plan owners in the US, where all the trial data is from. The results are too compelling for this to be left on the shelf.

Perhaps I'm just musing, but I've been wondering whether J&J might de-risk their future plan to acquire TRLS with this one-year contract. Why would J&J want others to have such an effective tool in IBD that other Pharmaceutical Companies could utilise? If they did acquire TRLS, the "large US national health plan" access would come with it. IBD is a key area for them, and adding TRLS could give them a competitive edge plus J&J could give scale to the TRLS Elevate too and that's just in IBD. DYOR

We may have gotten rid of the shorters. However, I still think news is incoming, possibly next week, as this happened just before the JJ deal was announced. The volumes became strangely high, and then the shorters jumped on and off, amplifying the effect. Trading volumes seem to be mirroring patterns just before the deal was announced.
