https://www.energyvoice.com/renewables-energy-transition/300058/coal-use-set-to-surge-in-india-despite-renewables-boom/Cambay..Indonesia...Irish Sea...what is there not to like about OEX. Agree with Samthedog, a few of us unfortunates have been here longer than 12 years, but I think Jo is the best person to come along in years ( he still gets my vote )
HIS missus, Carrie has rightfully banished Cummins to Barnard castle with his seeing eye dog...all will be well in ITV land now...they could use this as a new plot...better than a bunch of overpaid B grade actors in a Welsh dungeon crawling with venom(less) snakes
Minister Pradhan needs to get a dose of economic reality....commercial gas prices = commercial investment...
Let's hope that someone sticks the truth to Modi... realistic ( commercial ) gas price = foreign investment /// no gas price = no investment. They don't come much smoother than Modi, teflon springs to mind...
great video, except no gumtrees at Cambay...wishfull thinking
I know everyone is bored... a little light relief
Some of us might remember Brad...
If you can get the video to work, he was on sharecafe.com.au in August. ( good website )
Still backing Joe, ...watching paint dry on an Indian wall would test anyone's patience

a bit of light reading. good website for a bit of news and analysis
-sectors - oil&gas or juniors etc.
People on this forum should be aware that had the current management not pursued GSPC before the expiry, they would most likely have got away and paid nothing. Credit to the current bod for pursuing them. As protracted as things appear, they have ground out some good results and not let GSPC off the hook. I am pleased with the current thrust of the company pursuing Canning Basin & the Irish Sea situations. I have been a long term substantial investor in this company, would be great to hear a bit more positive (researched) comments on this bulletin board
Better than Vegemite !
Nothing drags me out of my cave quicker than the smell of money ( GSPC-on-toast.... nothing like it, yum yum )
want to see some good info on Cooper Basin & maps, for those stuck in the UK & long to visit the heat, dust & flies of a long hot summer...

the following comes from RISC Advisory in Perth ( ISIS Petroleum, an excellent oil stratigraphics etc co. became part of them recently. great work previously done by them [ Peter Barber et al - Peter your sadly missed ]
This highlights the importance of the Moomba gas hub ( & OEX's leases in the Cooper Basin )

Couple of producing gas fields ( even small ones ). Wouldn't worry about 5p.... let's get on with it
Unless you want to vote against a resolution or ask a question, no need to vote/send message, as resolutions generally passed (as I expect these will ). Just wish I could back to Perth for the meeting, usually pleasant events to attend, off to the pub afterwards. Most of the drinks & deals(?!!!??!) are done in the various mining offices on a Friday afternoon...miss the banter & B/S over a few beers...
Notice of general meeting, see under CREST - Depositary Interests for instructions on how to vote. Interestingly are two companies to be paid by shares for services ( see my earlier posts ). Interesting where BOD are heading, getting on board people who can do the analysis. Better to have a smaller % shareholding in a company producing in more than one field. Question I really want answered is can we get hold of West Kampar ? Been in Oilex since the beginning , got to be tough, bit like a marathon. I don't intend giving up. I think our current BOD are doing the correct things & get my vote
Just educating guessing...
Hi, notice of meeting coming up. Mentioned are Banks Geoscience here in UK & Odin Reservoir Consultants. Latter does as the name implies, have a look at some of there earlier work, very professional. Likely tied up in all of this is some very smart analysis tools. After a bit of research, the link I left comes into view. Called homework. More people in this chatroom should try it sometime, also called the bigger picture. rgds..

Cooper Basin is still in the "early" stages of relatively easy oil & gas. Look at Elk Energy where Brad Lingo is at the moment, hard graft to get oil out of "brown" fields. Been involved with this business long enough to recognise experienced personnel getting on with the job. People should give them a bit more support.
Have a look Terra Nova / Claren / etc. These companies are tight on cash, drilled their two wells & need to exit...
