I was the trade 1st thing for my ISA, sold on Monday thinking I could buy straight back in that day, had to wait until this morning to transfer funds from standard shares into a stock ISA, so I bought back in 1st thing. Pain in the arse to be honest, lost just under 3% on the trade and watching phone for 2 days hoping no RNS ! The BED transaction your broker does I think, you might get a better rate and lose less but I think you have no control to but back in if the RNS does land. 🙄 anyway my transfer is done. 👍🏻

My understanding is it is a ii changing their portfolio direction and redirecting funds, I suspect they are not selling out of this at a loss & it’s all just a matter of timing that they are moving funds now. I hear your thoughts that it feels like a concern but if it is purely a portfolio reduction away from oil and gas or high risk investing, It’s not personal to UPL as a business

I was simply highlighting the request which seems reasonable & I have no doubt they are losing out & delaying the process. The process is happening and PETROS are the sole aggregator. Legal documents on such a big case would make perfect sense. I don’t disagree Petronas are spitting out their dummies during the whole experience.

I read it that Petronas was requesting that a legal document was signed going forward which outlined the legal framework by which petronas and PETROS would be working with to in the future. (With them already accepting PETROS as the legal sole aggregator for Sarawak) it looked a legitimate request to have both governments to understand the framework that they are all working with.

The past 3 months has been positive news flow. The company is doing a lot to position itself as a lead contender in the area. It’s all looking good. People will take a slice of profit pre Xmas. Doesn’t change what’s been happening and the potential for early 2026 lift off !

I’d just like to add there was an element of relaxed confidance from UPL & it is just a waiting game. All the background work has been done, JV ready to sign off, NDA’s in place regarding SK334. So it is just a case of keep your head down, crack on with what you’re doing and your time will come.
