Appreciate that 👍🏻
Sorry December!!!
Can anyone clarify what this means? Does it actually imply a payment has been made as has been claimed? It’s definitely showing another 3 months interest on the bond until the end of September….. why would this be issued???it looks a really positive & promising but people don’t seem to have picked up on it, am I missing something? Thanks.
It does sort of explain where the money people thought should be in the banks gone?
It's like an episode of 'Scooby Doo' trying to put the pieces together. But it would explain the finances?
Unless the janitor's git it !!!!!!
Isn't this is very significant news, surely it means things are starting to happen?
So no panic for next week due to this progressive news?
> E.g. Three months previously: https://newsweb.oslobors.no/message/593532 and they still haven't paid that coupon.
A week is a very long time in business......................why try to predict what you can't foresee with such negativity?
Seeing this business work through it's issues and thrive will give a lot more joy to people than seeing it crash and burn.
Let's hope the people that matter see it that way to & find the solutions needed, because they are out there.............. 😊
Substantial numbers on the buys too
1meteor, I really appreciate your input into these discussions. Like I'v always said there is more going off here than meets the eye. Your thinking ties in with this and seeing options that the average Leyman might not know is always good input.
Nice to see the share going up rather than a 'slow death' as some might imply. I'm a glass halfull type person but I am about 10% full at the moment!!! Bring on the news and let's s get this heading back in the right direction. Options definitely here.
Exactly, is there an anomaly where the money for the last few months isn’t yet showing in IOG accounts??
Random question, how do iog get paid for their gas. Is it just on a rolling day by day cycle or do they get in chunks ???
It will be interesting to see where the costs have come in and money spent, in theory money was there to pay the bond as required but due to legal obligations monies needed to stay in the bank, which I understand. But they have been producing at a steady rate for the past month and all of September. So will we have the finances to pay the waiver?? If not where is the money? I know we cancelled the rig so maybe that was a big chunk paid last month hence the current bank sheet? Also is part of below starting to happen and is money being used for this with the bond holders agreement ??? I’m sure there is a lot going off here that we aren’t aware of. I really can’t see iog going under. Talk on here feels like people are saying 100% they won’t have the money at the end of September?? I think it’s going to be tight, squeaky bum…….
As a new management team, we have been reassessing the most efficient strategy to create value for our stakeholders based on operating data since First Gas in 2022 and updated technical evaluation of the risks and rewards across the portfolio. In addition to the established Saturn Banks production infrastructure position, the portfolio comprises high permeability conventional reservoirs as well as tighter gas reservoirs which require stimulation. Whilst the latter have clear potential, the conventional fields can deliver more compelling returns on capital with lower development risk. Strategically, therefore, we plan to prioritise these opportunities, from the Western Cluster (Blythe and Elgood) to the Southern Cluster (Kelham, Abbeydale, Orrell) and the Central Cluster, where our latest technical work indicates conventional discovered gas development potential at Grafton and Tenby.
Our "Conventional Core" incremental investment case illustrates this potential for efficient capital deployment. This has a management estimated unrisked pre-tax IRR of over 90% at an average gas price of 75 p/therm (well below today's forward curve), which would be substantially derisked by a successful Kelham appraisal well. The broader portfolio has also extensive value to unlock beyond this, which could be further enhanced if we are successful in our nine 33rd Round block applications."
1meteor, you make a very valid point about the environmental issue involved here and the removal of hardware and costs involved. I think all of these points discussed and highlighted actually shows it's better for everyone involved (including bond holders) that IOG keeps trading and producing. Do we actually know what the gross daily production value being produced at the moment in pounds of all assets?? (I'm losing track of what's producing and what's not?)
People have been doubling down and doubling down again on here. I was straight in heavy and toped up a few times but no where doubling down on any top ups. It is time to see a turn in fortune at the end of the month. I would love to go again at this price but I can't afford to lose anymore. I'm fingers crossed for a few rabbits out of whatever secret hole they would like to pull them form. Upturn at the end of Sept needed for all involved. I can't see there being nothing and the board have done nothing behind the scenes recently and this just flatlines. I know the RNS needs to factual but lets try to be a bit more upbeat and solutions / actions need to start coming into play to resolve this. GLA
I think people are also looking at potential v performance, Performance not been great to say the least! Potential is still there but IOG need to unlock it & Start getting it right. The bond has been a distraction, bad timing and a negative for the past few months, yes it needs paying & I think it will be. Get the waiver paid and let them move on. Get the next RNS right with good news, Waiver paid and the plan for the next 3 to 6 months capitalising on GAS production and the infrastructure. If that means a new drill then brilliant. Get 6 months of production in the bank at higher prices.
Majority of analysts have this as a hold at the moment.
Forecasting 5p by the end of next month. I know this is not high for some but it makes a base point to work from.
End of sept will reveal part of the story. Recovery mode is definitely in operation and like people keep discussing options are here. Taps open Keep producing all through Xmas and March will be a telling month to see where IOG is. Hopefully with the share price more on the 7+ side with stability a projections.
The company's EBITDA/Sales ratio is relatively high and results in high margins before depreciation, amortization and taxes.
The group's activity appears highly profitable thanks to its outperforming net margins.
The equity is one of the most attractive in the market with regard to earnings multiple-based valuation.
The company appears to be poorly valued given its net asset value.
Given the positive cash flows generated by its business, the company's valuation level is an asset.
The difference between current prices and the average target price is rather important and implies a significant appreciation potential for the stock.
Yes I’m not understanding this, really small colume and not high value orders are making this swing probably on average about 10%. If I bough 2k now it would be back to level for the start of the day. These aren’t big numbers 🤷🏼♂️
It was a waiver on last months payment that was due on the bond. From what I understand the waiver was asked for because IOG needed to keep a curtain amount of money/credit in the bank for other reasons. (The money was there but due to other administrative/legal reasons it needed to stay in the bank). I don't see why you would pay back the bond early. I'm presuming all future earnings made in the short term will be used to focus on producing gas at the higher prices. It does feel like sept is going to be along month waiting on Information on what IOG has been doing, because I believe they have been beavering away in the background whilst pumping in a shed load of gas. No news good news!! End of sept fingers crossed for some very interesting and positive updates!!
Quiet here today after yesterday. Not quite sure on the sorts, are you saying they have closed, or are they still continuing? thanks
When you say lower, what ball park are you suggesting.
i'd rather they sort all the things they need to do and concentrate on that 😊.
thanks for your great input kyc. an rns that smashes it out of t he park in good time is
better than drip feeding bits of information that doesn't add more than we already know won't really help.
the price is what is at the moment, i have no money to add more (all spent up on 1m of shares). went in heavy just pre drill and thought i would reap the rewards from previous **** ups 🙃. so happy to sit until the turn around. confident it will all be alright on the night !!!
