The children and parents are stressed about everything our Avacta AffiDX is not. The communication of the test is going to need a very good PR campaign.
As the previous Vox talk was removed because they talked about how the stock would be transformed if it was listed on the Nasdaq, what are people's thoughts about the fact it was not mentioned in this one?
Great interview - thanks to Alastair and Paul for a great update.
Avacta and Mologic are also exploring the possibility of combining Avacta's spike antigen test with Mologic's nucleocapsid antigen test[3] in a single device which would be a world first and has the potential to deliver the most sensitive rapid antigen test possible. The two companies will evaluate whether the two tests can be combined in a single device and then make a commercial decision on whether to pursue this second generation COVID-19 diagnostic.
The test uses Affimer binders to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and is capable of identifying individuals with infectious viral loads using an anterior nasal swab sample. Such a test is suitable for mass deployment to identify those people who are likely to infect others so that they can isolate and reduce the spread of the infection.
Laboratory studies indicate that it may be the most sensitive S1 spike protein lateral flow test available [to date].
Is it just my browser or has the Avacta website changed again? When I open it in Chrome there is no link to our tests. It just has three options of 'Therapeutics', 'Diagnostics' and 'Investors'. Even the page with all the news, videos and blogs have gone.
When I open it in Safari, it is the old version with 'Developing next generation cancer therapies', 'Diagnostic product development' and 'Sars-cov-2'
What have you got?
