Jefferies has already raised RR to £3.90
Thanks for clarifying, I couldn't make heads or tails of it.
PETROFAC on LIST, found this via GKP chat.

“ The Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) indices are widely tracked by passive funds and any inclusion of stocks or increase in weightage of stocks in these global indices are expected to lead to inflows from passive funds tracking these indexes.”
“ Once a stock is added to the index, it is argued, demand will increase dramatically—and along with it the share price—as institutional investors rebalance their portfolios. And as long as that demand continues, so will the stock's price premium .”
Yeah, the Stocks Events app is listing earning reports on the 29th February and the 23rd April for PFC.
30p baby!
Reading it, I'm always hit by the utter lack of cajones. Always pathetic, tentative, dismissive.
They had the same utterly pessimistic attitude towards RR and BAE... and we all know how they are turning out. RR is a beast and BAE is finally getting considerable and real movement. I mean, the recent Fool article on BAE was an absolute joke, so fearful despite BAE having record backlog of contracts. They might be one of the few certainties for success in these times. But I suppose that's for another board...
According to my Stock Events app, PFC has an upcoming Earnings Report on the 29th February and April 23rd.
I reckon this could easily hit £15 by EOY 2024. BAE is winning contracts left, right and centre – busy collaborating with Rheinmetall, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Leonardo, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries... huge order backlog as we all know. Can only see SP going up.
Anyone tried to put a trade through this morning? Taking ages...
SP touching 31p = Shorts touching cloth.
MyIPA, no worries.
New Contract is found on their Twitter.
LS, interesting you mentioned dividends, been thinking likewise. Reinstatement of divis would certainly rise SP and attract more foreign investors, although, yes, I'm not sure how good it might look in the face of things. They paid out dividends, however, in most years recently, despite the fighting. Only 2022 and 2023 had none. Even a 3/4% yield would be amazing news.
PFC just announced they have have secured a pre-FEED contract award with hxgenergy for a low-emissions ammonia facility in Pilbara, Western Australia. The facility aims to meet the rising demand for low-emissions ammonia for the Asian market
Think SP should hit 90 at least tomorrow. Am optimistic.
Read my mind Tuan. Even someone as economically uneducated as myself can see the b*llocks. Why would companies like BP and Tennet invest in a firm that is allegedly doomed? I mean, SP has been remarkably stubborn (touch wood) so far today. I will follow suit, dig myself in like a tick. Unless the shorters want Lyme disease, they should let go...
In short – shorters are idiots. Pun intended.
Tipsey, no, I'm talking about the other drop around Xmas/NY, not the massive one.
Xmas/NY drop in SP (around 7.88%) is due to company's FY 2023 update and guidance for 2024-2026. Production is expected to decline by 4% in 2024, 3% in 2025, but increase by 4% in 2026.
Minecheck, Poland will be doing no invading. They will, however, step in, if Ukraine falters. If that happens, Russia will lose. Polish military is among the best in Europe now. Russian army isn't even the best in Russia. They are too dependent on PMCs like Redut and mercenaries from the Levant and Africa. Also, Zelensky has no mansion in Miami. Don't know where you got that from. I'm aware Ukraine population has diminished significantly, hence why they need to win. Russia is still a serious foe, but they aren't doing well. Revenues from LNG have collapsed (despite massive reserves), inflation is high and the ruble has lost over 40% of its value since December 2022. Putin is also now spending up to 30% of the federal budget on armaments. Total waste for the Russian people, they will be paying for this in more ways than one.
