Current SP is the steal of the century. If it goes lower (it probably will) – I will buy even more. While this stock feels like treading through a minefield, the possible rewards in the future are absolutely, positively enormous. Dividends alone could provide a salary. The war needs to end soon. This November will be very interesting with the US elections. Anything can happen...
Nice find Alex.
£13 now reached. Barclays & Bernstein sees £14.50 on the horizon, Berenberg £13.60. Personally, I think £15 is closer. I reckon this will get an adrenaline shot around November when the US elections take place. £20 next Christmas 2025 will be on the horizon I think.
Sandyman, really? If FXPO comes under Russian control consider it a lost cause. Why you would be against sending arms to the Ukrainians? Literally protecting an investment. Unless you are trolling, an edgelord, or a idiot, this really shouldn't need spelling out.
MC, just give it time. The Americans can afford to be apprehensive – Poland cannot. Hence why they spend 4% of GDP on military and now are gearing up. It's not farfetched or controversial, but absolutely necessary. You can't rely on the Americans for anything. During a recent debate on the 25th anniversary of Poland’s accession to NATO, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated that a full NATO presence in Ukraine is "not unthinkable."
have not been very understanding of the situation – too slow and apprehensive.
Via Reuters, FXPO have announced they need more time to publish the full year results. Tomorrow, will see a drop probably …
Ukraine may lose, but in any case, Russia will lose. No chance of Poland letting Ukraine became a Putinist vassal state. If Ukraine falls, so does Russia. Polish military alone could smash Russia.
If it goes down further tomorrow, I will buying more. Great company. Beats the lottery, penny stocks, etc.
Stating the obvious there… Guardian shouldn’t be publishing anything like this - not a fan of the Saudis by a long shot but it does us no favours. Bad enough the Palestinian brigade is protesting at BAE sites - should be banned outright and sympathisers jailed. French and Yanks know how to deal with this kind of scum.

No sh*t. What good is this to anyone?
November 5th this year will be pivotal – either way the share price will rocket. Whether Trump wins or not, the SP should skirt around the £15 mark at the very least. I don't see why not – BAE has an immaculate balance sheet, huge, steady backlog of orders... every precursor for success is evident. Personally, this is a LTH, a SP of £20 is not far off in my opinion.
Onwards and upwards RF!
Defence is the only industry almost guaranteed to garner decent returns nowadays. BAE could easily hit £15 by the EOY, Rolls-Royce will probably get to £5, Rheinmetall undoubtedly will smash through Є500 (at the minimum). Airbus, Leonardo and Thales are also expected to see significant growth. Everyone is gearing up, and big time.
Nothing but a Simply Wall St Article via Yahoo and another by BNN this morning regarding ownership. They need to release a RNS soon. My Stock Events says this Thursday for a earnings report. Hopefully this happens.
RF, Thursday reckon Leonardo should be getting uplifts from brokers. Got my eye on Thyssen Krupp too atm, think it could be a steal, just hope things calm down with the SP
I've seen Hensoldt keep getting talked about for a imminent uplift by brokers and such on websites etc, but I don't know much about them to be honest. Are you in with them RF?
Leonardo is a bit of a dark horse, been doing very well. Doubled since June 2023. You been following Kawasaki Heavy Industries by any chance? Seems criminally undervalued (like Leonardo and BAE) – with Japan spending record amounts on defence in regards to China getting rambunctious, I could see it rising.
O yes! RHM is an absolute juggernaut of a company, collaborates a lot with BAE (Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land). Rheinmetall also own Mauser. Forecasts see the SP steadily rising. €500 by end of 2024 is almost guaranteed.
RR secures order from Taiwan's Starlux airlines for its Trent 7000 and Trent XWB-97 engines. The engines will power 3 Airbus A330neo and 5 A350F aircraft.
Yeah, not good at all. Can't be backtracking on these things.
