If they have an order to fill & no one-is selling stock ................

They can either try a tree shake or send it higher until they find a price people are willing to sell at & try the tree shake from there ................

Yup, someone sure knows (or thinks they know) something that the rest of us don't yet know !

If they could attract 20 or so brand new shareholders who were happy to hold 200,000 shares each then that would take up 5% of the shares in issue & decrease the free-float out there considerably.

Your right it has gone up (spiked) a couple of times one into the mid 4s & then on the trading update & then fallen back basically the same day, but both of those were on the back of an announcement's.

This is out of the blue, No announcement & is already the highest trading volume day in 3 month's (including RNS days) by about 1M shares.

Roughly 3% of the company has traded today so far (seller to MM to buyer).

All of which should make everyone sit & and take notice .......................

Tried the tree shake for stop losses etc, didn't bring the desired result although they do look to have picked up a little stock from it, but the buying continues & the large bid/offer spread doesn't seem to be putting the buyers off at all.

I wonder what the delayed trades are going to look like when they finally come through ?

Clearly for those in the know its a case of just get in right now at any cost .................. so what's the news that's leaked to them?

You might have sold your FAB too early by the looks of it, I've not seen that type of buying in the stock in all the month's I've been invested there.

Looks to me like a leaky ship & those in the know buying up whatever they can get there hands on .................

Pretty clear that Wilson & Sons has moved to quarterly dividend payments - latest payment is R$0.2471075 per share & went ex-dividend yesterday & payment on 22nd July.

That's up considerably on the R$0.1727 they paid out on 4th June.

Just to be clear those are the payments relating to 2024.

They paid a dividend of R$0.17165 on 6th May which was the last of the 2023 dividends that ended up being $0.85 cents paid to OCN shareholders.

We really want OCN to move to quarterly or at worst half yearly dividend payments.

IP Group themselves didn't sell any of there 3.38% holding, however the notification relates to the indirect holding of 1.31% of Mirriad held by Parkwalk Advisors & Share Nominees which has now been disposed off.

The reality is it wasn't a great update, hence why the share price has retreated back to where it was before.

The Q1 revenue number was very good at £0.522M

The big issue was the forward order book at just £0.7M

Now if the forward order book had been a figure of £1.2 - £1.5M the story would have been completely different, because you would have had another 3Q's of roughly £0.5M (by the time you factor in other small order's they'll pick-up as time goes by)

Having only £0.7M means either Q2 is going to look horrible with revenue possibly half that of Q1 & either Q3 or Q4 (or both) looking very weak currently as well. Or alternatively Q2 comes in at £0.4M+ meaning Q3 & Q4 both currently look dire right now.

That's the issue holding the share price back, No consistent revenue pathway.

The company needs to address this, hopefully soon with some of those grants being given to partners then quickly finding its way into FAB orders.

The story from the roadshow's hasn't brought new investors onboard as they might have hoped for. So its clearly not as compelling as they might think it is.

So there going to have to produce contract after contract now to turn sentiment around, or as I suggest get a big name added to the board like that Dr J Milner who made a fortune from Antibodies.

Hi 2phevs, yes I know what you mean, but that's referring to Brand names not Brand products. For this to work we need brand products to return to the format again & again.

I'm finishing off my email to them, I've adjusted it to say ..............

To be clear, by brand products in these questions I mean - (using Heinz as an example), Heinz soups would be classed as 1 product grouping, Heinz Tomato Ketchup another, Baked Beans another etc & by money making I'm mean revenue of at least £10,000 per brand product not tiny "trials"
