Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Talk is of an 80p a share offer, http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/markets/2008/04/tomb_raider_creator_sci_entert.html
"once the final nitty gritty of the deal goes through - possibly by Thursday, says Mr Lenigas. It will mine at a rate up at around 140,000 ounces per year, at a cost of around US$400 per ounce. So, the thinking goes, dividends from Emperor will fund the rest of Templar’s projects and plans. "
Media giants NBC Universal, Microsoft and Sony are all interested in taking a stake in or forming a joint venture with SCi Entertainment, the ailing publisher of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause video games, writes the Sunday Telegraph. should see some upward movement with luck
Doesnt look like it, still showing delisted on Barclays
Placing The board of River Diamonds is pleased to announce that, in addition to the conditional placing of £4,250,000 at 6p per share announced on 14 December 2007, a further 6,983,333 new ordinary shares have been conditionally placed at 6p per share with institutional investors raising gross proceeds of £419,000. The placings are conditional on completion of the acquisition of the Vatakoula Gold Mine in Fiji which was announced on 14 December 2007. Pending Acquisition and Resumption of River Diamonds shares to trading on AIM The Company's shares are suspended pending the publication of a re-admission document in connection with the proposed acquisition of the Vatakoula Gold Mine in Fiji. The Directors are pleased with progress on the proposed transaction and will publish the re-admission document as soon as possible subject to completion of the final due diligence
Probably wont jump much now until announcement following review at the end of Feb as promised. If a funding deal can be done it will race back to over £2.00 Going lower is a possibility in the meantime as better returns are available elsewhere during this volatile time (IMHO).
I am sorry that you see my intention to ensure people on this board are "informed" especially if they already own shares in SCI as ramping, it was not my intention. As Redsox highlights in the link the IP on Tombraider and Hitman is valued at over £100m so a market cap of £54m would hopefully show the shares are undervalued. In addition, some very wealthy individuals have lost considerable money if the dont return to former price levels. I would always recommend people do their own research and make their own decisions including you.
This was lost in the news release of directors leaving, should have been a significant update at the time "To celebrate the launch of the new website Funcom and Eidos are also releasing a new trailer* showcasing the incredible qualities of the Dreamworld MMO engine. Shown for the first time at the CES convention last week, the new video gives a small peek into what the proprietary Funcom MMO engine is capable of. Additionally three new teaser web trailers are now available on the site, each one giving a further glimpse into the world of Conan. Age of Conan is consistently mentioned as one of the most anticipated PC games in development. It has received more than twenty magazine covers and more than fifteen major awards, including numerous "Best MMO of E3" awards and the official "Best Online Game of Show" award at the GC convention 2007. Age of Conan is a key title in Microsoft's Games for Windows line-up, as well as a showcase title for nVidia." http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=32245
I struggle to see value here also, they have sold the UK operations to Ricoh and mainly focus on the US market that is facing recession so the IT/service sector is always the first to suffer. Although the traditional copier market is holding its own in total sales the profitability is rapidly diminishing across the board. I cannot see any upside in the short term (as usual DYOR, my opinion only, after 20 years in the industry)
Have to feel a little sorry fo Jane Cavanagh as it was her company, this all looks a little contrived to get her and her husband out. Convenient that an expert was waiting and available. (IMHO)
Lots of write ups during the weekend with the tabloids, most sounding positive for the future. This one from the Independent ." Mr Ryan said the company was not experiencing an immediate cash crunch, despite analyst fears that it could need to raise up to £30m. "The first priority is to take a thorough look at the business and strategy. We don't have to rush into any decisions or deals with anyone." Review will be end of Feb so price may remain a little volatile for a while however IMHO 200p is still realistic by then http://news.independent.co.uk/business/news/article3350871.ece as usual DYOR If they agree to launch Tomb Raider in June as originally planned on the three platforms it could recover to over 500p
Citigroup (NYSE: C - news) has upgraded Morgan Crucible (LSE: MGCR.L - news) hopefully movement upwards Monday
lots of buys now coming through at 70p so hopefully day traders have taken profits and price stability will last the day. Looking forward to increases on Monday if the market is generally upbeat for a change
Just hit 75p to buy
my money is on 200 within 4 weeks as it is too cheap
T-Boi, I believe the market is very nervous about this with rumours of real funding issues and sector has a bad track record of games companies going broke or being taken over below market value. I believe it is very undervalued with IP worth £200m and Lara Croft a favourite of many. I am hoping it drops a little more so that I can top up, I jumped too early at first big fall at 69p as usual DYOR good luck.
Targeted to reach 240+ after results in Feb, strong cashflow and business doing well globally (DYOR) it has been bouncing back and forth for a while after announcing exchange rates against the dollar would affect margins in December however since then the pound has weakened a little.
Hi all, new to the site, l'm impressed so far MGCR Cancelled more than 1m of its own shares this week
