I have sensed a fair degree of frustration from Jonah of late, especially after I myself have put together a very sound argument as to why FUM is such a bad investment. So maybe it's good for him to have a "cooling off" period to take stock. Maybe sell half your investment, Jonah? You'll be taking a 7p per share hit but if it rises to the 40s like you think it might, then you'll be making 22p on the other half. And if it doesn't, then at least you've salvaged something. Just some sound advice, that's all.

Bald eagle. IMO JB is untrustworthy. I'm not sure if it was him directly who suggested that MED had 20 possible outcomes - all positive - but it was very misleading and appeared to be the reason why the SP climbed from 6p to almost 50p. Not sure if the Market will fall again for any of FUM's claims going forward, but FUM do appear to be still fooling some on here with the placebo (I still can't refer to that without smiling!), so maybe so.

Anyway, the SP appears to have lost yesterday's "positive" update momentum already, after just 1 day, which doesn't bode well.

Hoping for a TPR update next week so I can take a position on FUM.

I don't think it's a case of Thornton "deliberately" waiting until the last minute. It seems quite obvious there appears to be fundamental flaws regarding TPR hence why it's taking so long to answer the questions, questions which the management claimed would be answered in a matter of weeks when viewing last year's final results presentation. So is the R & D dept amateurish as well as the management? Could well be.

Just like the lab work and the poorly conducted Phase 2 trial on MED. Seems like the potential partners unearthed serious placebo concerns last year during the due diligence hence no deals despite Barder claims of a lucrative deal being imminent. Then going on to say that there were 20 possible outcomes, all positive, but a 21st negative outcome happened. My opinion of JB? Hmmmmm.

Draw your own conclusions re the above.

For me this is a typical gravy train AIM fleecing the shareholders to finance their huge salaries and bonuses.

Parity, as I've said countless times before I'm not currently short on FUM, and you only have to disclose over half a percent anyway.

It's all becoming very personal to some of you guys, and my presence seems to be somewhat "scaring" you. But not personal from my view point, it's purely business.

I've just got to be patient. If TPR progresses with Thornton then yes, FUM is worth more than current Market cap, I'll admit that. If TPR is returned then the game is up IMO. And with the SP being propped up by this nonsensical placebo rubbish, FUM is a brilliant short. Exciting times!

No commercial interest says it all. Potential partners wasted their time last year with their due diligence on the "previous" MED when it was obvious there will always be a placebo issue with the way it's applied. What next? The placebo in the MED3000 trials outperforming MED3000, then hey presto there'll be a MED4000 ! You couldn't make it up!

Still no TPR update with only a couple of weeks before the MHRA deadline. Then there's every chance FUM will lose the last commercial interest they have re their products. The writing is on the wall.

FUM as of now (pre TPR update) = junk (as I believe TPR will fail)
FUM after a positive TPR update = "maybe" worth a punt (depending on the quality of the update)

One day you might understand, but I won't hold my breath!

Hey, Jonah, I was kidding when I suggested you and the other rampers were on your half term break, but now I'm beginning to think I hit the nail on the head and indeed your £100k investment is just a fantasy!

Seriously, though, this BB is in desperate need of an intelligent bull who puts the buy argument across far better than a group of boiler room rampers, so you need to make room, Jonah, for a day or 2 and let that person speak ……. is one exists that is!

But I'll answer some of your points in a polite manner.

I started posting on here when FUM was 12.5p so, even though it hasn't gone down a great deal as yet, I think I'm calling this one right so far. Don't you? Well, certainly better than someone who is averaging 18p !! And bear in mind the fall also includes today's "positive" update.

Not wasting my time at all, Jonah. I'm waiting for TPR to be returned which will confirm my belief that dermasys is rubbish and FUM will be a great short, with plenty of money to be made. If TPR progresses then I'll be the first to come on here and hold my hand up admitting I was wrong.

Well, well, well. Lots of activity on here today! Is it School half term already?

Firstly, Jonah my friend, I'm quite gob smacked you're invested to the tune of a £100k in a high risk bio-tec, and one as badly run as FUM, and if you don't mind me saying that makes you quite insane (if you're telling the truth!). But it does explain why you're extremely sensitive to any FUM criticism.

Got to say I thought today's update was very "me me me" ……. where's the commercial partner interest? Does this mean it's inevitable a further fund raising will take place later this year? Also very groundhog day …. MED all over again.

Sorry, guys, this didn't excite me as much as you, infact it didn't excite me at all. Or the Market for that matter, with a very poor 9% rise which included a 4% spread. So still a short IMO.

Furthermore, the timing does smack of a prelude to a negative TPR update. Pump it up (albeit a dismal failure) before dropping the TPR bombshell. Just got that sneaky hunch see.

Sorry it's not what you want to hear so I expect the usual "de-ramper" nonsense, but you never know - TPR might just prove me wrong although I very much doubt it.

So it appears the bears know more about FUM than the bulls! A few big sells under the official bid today, a big seller in the background. Lombard? Or maybe the mysterious quarry manager, T Adams?

Don't want to see anyone lose money, but I'm enjoying how this is playing out. My money is still on a returned TPR and big sell off down to 5p by the end of the month. Done some more digging and I didn't realise how many partners have terminated contracts with FUM.

MED - GSK and RB. They must have unearthed issues regarding placebo.

CSD - RB again, plus Church & Dwight and Ansell. Also looks like several minor partners haven't gone ahead with any launches. Own product Blue Diamond even failed. What happened there?

TPR - GSK. Could have seen problems regarding dermasys. Thornton next?

So an overwhelming rejection of FUM's products which really says it all.

I was going to wait until the decision on TPR to try and short, but this has to be the tastiest short on AIM at the moment with a sky high valuation of £20 million.

What's your take on these multiple partner rejections, Jonah?

No idea what "game" I'm supposed to be playing, Jonah, as what I've been posting is reasonable and valid.

FUM is currently valued at over £20 million which is very generous IMO given the high risk of TPR being returned and then just left with the ridiculous placebo. So I would have thought the SP is indeed "decent" already, and some would argue "much more than decent".

I am neither long nor short at the moment, so no game playing from me. But as I've said, TPR comes good then I'll buy, TPR returned then I'll "try" and short, but I doubt if that service will be available for FUM - will have to speak to my broker, but looks unlikely. So for all the paranoia about shorters on here, you're all imagining it.

Therefore I can't lose as I'm viewing FUM with my eyes open. Unlike some!

You seem to be getting angry, Jonah, you need to calm down and take a few deep breaths!

I think Thornton will return the rights just like many other partners have with FUM's other products, things like that happen. It's business. Maybe they're developing their own product or dermasys might have problems (which in turn won't bode well for the impending ED trials).

It's my opinion, that's all, don't get upset about it. I'm still "hanging around" because I think FUM will be a worthwhile investment if Thornton continue with TPR, even if it means buying at a higher SP (will be worth it as significantly less risk of FUM failing).

My gut feeling, frank, is that Thornton for whatever reason will return TPR as it's just too close to the deadline. I'd rather buy into FUM at 20p on the back of positive Thornton backing as it's a sound "investment" rather than buying in now guessing the outcome, as that's just reckless gambling!

Ooo, how very dare you suggest the major shareholders know better than me, Jonah, you cheeky monkey! Only joking!

But seriously I wouldn't read anything into who the "big" shareholders are. All listed companies have "big" shareholders, even those that go bust. And FUM's "big" shareholders didn't see the MED failure or heavily discounted placing coming otherwise Lamb, Adams et all would have sold out at 40p+, so you can take it they know diddly squat to be honest.

Still no sign of the TPR update. Thornton really are cutting it fine as the last update suggests the MHRA deadline is this month to answer the questions otherwise it looks as though the whole thing is off. Then it's one trick pony time with the placebo.

Many thanks for welcoming shorters, frank, much appreciated. At the end of the day both camps are trying to make money out of FUM, just in different ways, so there should be no animosity.

Just to correct you, however, I am not a shorter just yet as I'm waiting for Thornton's verdict on TPR. Could well rise if they are positive and sign agreements for further territories. TPR fails then this is a definite short, although as I've said before it could be difficult selling shares in such an unloved illiquid penny stock as the predators will steam in. Not looking good though for holders at the moment with some heavy selling - seems confidence is on the wane.

Up late last night I see, hope being a FUM shareholder is not giving you sleepless nights! Up early myself because Lady Top Up and I are off to a champagne breakfast, really enjoyable events but knocks me out for the rest of the day!

I apologise if my presence upsets you, it's not intended that way. I do confess to now having almost zero interest in buying any FUM shares (TPR is its only way out I feel) but I'm still "here" because I find FUM interesting in that it still attracts a posse of loyal believers despite its obvious flaws. Take, for example, their claim of 20 possible outcomes for MED - all being positive - yet a 21st outcome happened. But still there are some who believe that same "naughty" management about the placebo making it. Could happen I suppose, but seems far fetched and they've got form!

But to respond to the rest of your post - I would answer your question, if I knew what it was!

Also why am I talking nonsense? I said FUM listed in 2003. They did. I said it took 14 years for them to still be sorting out "medical device" CSD. Also correct. And my view on Viagra being far to big a hurdle for dermasys to jump still applies. If any potential partner was interested in the now defunct MED (are you listening FUM website maintenance guy?) or dermasys they would have struck up a deal long before now.

But alas, FUM have had to twice dilute the shares so much there are now double the number in issue than there was just over a year ago. So I still stand by my view that the FUM management are spinning this out to suck in another year of highly inflated salaries. Management which includes an ageing board and one drawing a six figure salary despite living in the US of A. What exactly is he doing?

Nope, FUM is one of those joke AIMs fleecing its shareholders IMO, but I still await the outcome of the TPR feedback. Sorry if my view upsets anyone, but totally factual and valid and honest. Yours, Lord.

I think we'll agree to disagree regarding the company being still very much alive and kicking, as I'd describe it more like slowly dying and twitching.

Dermays will NOT succeed as an ED treatment IMO. Nobody is interested and the gap in the Market is far too small. Viagra is constantly being reformulated and will eventually become as near perfect as possible, and even now it's more than satisfactory. The very small minority who will benefit wit a direct application treatment will have to suck it up - it's business and life's unfair.

Also back to the "simpler" pathway as a medical device. CSD was (or still is!) a medical device but still had to pass trials. What's more, the very purpose of FUM listing back in 2003 was to raise capital to progress the development of CSD. 14 years later they were still messing around with the shelf life! Shorter and simpler?

On a final note, someone mentioned the partnership with the cannabis related development. Anthony Parker who is the sole director of joint venture partner CBDerma Technology Limited has recently set up another company Inverpharma Limited registered at the same address in Bristol. Is he intending to undertake multiple joint ventures with different companies? Who is Mr Parker anyway? A quarry manager? Related to T Adams? Just an observation.
