So FUM's website is still saying this:

"This work is progressing, and we expect Thornton & Ross to respond by the end of February 2020 within the timelines agreed with the MHRA."

Careless or negligent? Either way, these cowboys could very well be breaking Stock Market rules by providing inaccurate/misleading information on their website unless they "modify" the February 2020 claim.

Also the mini revival appears to have run out of steam with some big sells starting to show. The gap down to 8p is beginning to form quite nicely.

For someone to purchase 1.6 million FUM shares I would have thought the SP would certainly be higher to coax out a significant amount of sellers in order to accumulate such a large amount. However, the SP has declined 20% in the past 2 weeks suggesting the opposite has happened - and the 1.6 million is indeed a sell (maybe an average of 13p over this 2 week period agreed with the MM executing the orders - makes sense) which also explains this drop. Someone wants out by the looks of it.

I'll never understand why some try and scrutinise individual transactions, as for every buy there's a sell and the direction of the SP is the ultimate indicator. and with the SP diving 9% that tells its own story.

Maybe it's the rampers trying to mislead new investors into thinking there's huge interest so they can get out of this at a higher price?

That's my assumption exactly, bald eagle, I'm just under the impression that today is the deadline to answer the TPR questions otherwise it's dead and buried hence there should be an update one way or the other. Anyway, I must be off now. It's been a pleasure exchanging views, bald eagle and the Italian, and I wish you both a very enjoyable weekend.

I'm also assuming the TPR submission will be voided if the deadline is passed, because what's the point in the deadline in the first place then?

The MHRA have given Thornton a deadline to answer the questions, so I'm assuming if they don't answer them at the end of February 2020 (NOW!) then the TPR submission becomes null and void. Hence my belief that FUM should really update the shareholders. Wow, you lot are so blinkered it's frightening!

PS. And I've never myself been "peeved" at so called unnecessary RNSs. Do you get "peeved"? Really? Do you go round the house throwing things at the wall shouting "Oh, that RNS was so unnecessary!" If you do, you need to get out more, lol!

Certainly NOT a buy! The SP shows the way and if it was a buy the SP would be much higher. As it is the SP has plunged today with a big spread suggesting plenty of available stock with the MMs not wanting anymore. Lombard playing games with the PIs?

Good morning, bald eagle, I hope you are well. I agree that the TPR update is not RNS-able, I get that. But the latest update by FUM wasn't RNS-able either. It's just that one would have thought FUM would "WANT" to tell the Market if Thornton had replied as per FUM's own website:

The Market in general is very fragile at the moment, so IF things are going as planned then it surprises me that FUM aren't at least giving that update, hence my own view that TPR is going belly up.

If I was to back the Market or Lombard, the Italian, I would back the Market. Lombard have a poor track record of getting things wrong, plus they are an "indirect" holding anyway so could just be a client, etc. They've also played this before, "topping up" (hey that's my name!) then offloading. Eg, who dumped the 1.5 million shares after hours yesterday? Lombard? Pah!

And what's more, the Italian, if there is yet another fund raise again at a sub 10p placing, that would mean well over 100 million recent/new shares placed at 7p/8p which means a permanent re-basing of the SP and ultimate expectations. Far too heavily diluted IMO to make this a worthwhile punt, especially if TPR is returned leaving just the (as yet) unpatented placebo.

My guess is an after hours RNS giving bad news, late Fridays are notorious for bad news RNSs!

I think we'll have to agree to disagree concerning the TPR update. Personally I think it's very important FUM reassures its shareholders that Thornton have responded in the time frame set by the MHRA. Very very important.

I would have thought it's in FUM's best interests, the Italian (I hope you're not affected by the coronavirus by the way), for them to inform investors that everything is OK as they state on their website:

"This work is progressing, and we expect Thornton & Ross to respond by the end of February 2020 within the timelines agreed with the MHRA."

A return of TPR is very serious. It removes potential future income thereby meaning a further fund raise is almost certain. It also brings into question what the problems are, and given TPR contains dermasys, if there are serious "practical" issues which may also scupper the remaining product - the (as yet) unpatented placebo.

Can't say I'm surprised with this inept uncaring management. So will there be an after hours RNS or one on Monday saying Thornton have failed to meet the timeframe set by the MHRA?

Cast your mind back to the height of FUM's potential 3 years ago when they updated the Market:

MED - "Breakthrough results in clinical study showing efficacy, safety and speed of onset, with the potential to be the world's fastest-acting treatment for ED. Advisors appointed to assist in securing out-licensing partners"

CSD - "Two new licensing agreements signed for CSD500 with a further agreement announced in March 2017, bringing network of international partners to a total of eight"

TPR - "First out-licensing agreement signed in January 2017 for TPR100 in the UK. Ongoing out-licensing discussions with prospective partners for TIB200 and TPR100 (outside of the UK)"

A return of TPR would see FUM left with an (as yet) unpatented placebo. What a sad demise.

Also there's the added bonus of no commercial interest in MED3000 so the return of TPR will almost certainly require further funding, and FUM struggled to raise a paltry £3 million last time round.

A classic spike formation has just completed and now there appears to be a gap to be filled as far down as 8p. Are there any chartists out there who could confirm my view?

I was going to wait until TPR possibly being returned but I can't wait for fear of missing out - this is the best shorting opportunity by far on the Market at present IMO.

As I say, chartists' views welcome and thanks in advance.

FUM are very close to losing their last commercial partner and getting into bed with the gutter press. Nuff said.

For anyone struggling to locate the article in the Mirror, it's in between the stories "20,000 mutant ninja gerbils land from Mars" and "Freddie Starr ate Ananda's Hamster".

I am fully aware, bald eagle, that Viagra has nothing to do with TPR. I was using it as an example of what FUM's products in general are up against.

Going back to TPR, if Thornton return it then FUM will have to partner it to get it to Market, as the costs to re-submit the dossier will be substantial, and far greater than FUM's current "pulling power" of 3 million quid. And that would mean starting the negotiation process all over again - many months of 3rd party due diligence and haggling over rights and price.

Same goes for placebo MED3000. They haven't even said there's commercial interest for that one (surprise surprise) so again you're talking years for potential income with the aforementioned due diligence, etc having to be carried out beforehand.

So no TPR partner = no income for at least a couple of years = another fund raise = further massive dilution. At this rate there'll be half a billion shares in issue IF their products even ever make it.

That's why it's crucial TPR is progressed by Thornton otherwise it's the end of the road for FUM IMO.

It's just taking far too long to address the questions from February 2019 which may suggest fundamental problems, or a poorly compiled dossier by Thornton themselves. I'm guessing there are problems. Big problems. Too big to overcome.

I'm beginning to think the claims coming from FUM as to how good their products are, are wildly exaggerated at best, and one by one we've seen agreements being terminated and products returned. And let's face it, any half decent research analyst would be working for a big pharma rather than a tiddler like FUM with a finite life. Gravy train AIM again rears its head!

Also bear in mind the longer they mess around the more likelihood big pharma will develop their own products anyway. Viagra, for example, is being constantly improved.

I just cannot see FUM succeeding, and a return of TPR will confirm my view.
