If that is true, and Tonko is still in C&M, the ore can only be coming from TIO's stockpile at Pepel, or at the railhead if it can be stored there. In any event, with IO prices approaching the mid-50s, we at least have one less thing to worry about.

None of us really know the legal ramifications of this tug-of-war currently being played out. Superficially, it looks like SISG can just ignore AML, bypass admin and restart the mine with their own hirings in place. If you were still naive enough, you might expect that AML would have built safeguards into the contract with SISG against such hostile behaviour. However, with the benefit of hindsight we now know that we are dealing at best with incompetents, at worst possible fraud.

It's not 100% clear to any of us exactly what AML's default of two months' PXF entitles SISG to. Is it the whole 75% holding or just a proportion?

I agree but I'm only repeating the advice given to me by the corporate action team at IG. You could have a go with your broker and see what joy you get.

The advantages are obvious but it would require someone with a basic knowledge to register a domain and design the site. Thanks for your thoughts and, as you say, what a mess. We are awaiting the final nail, which I expect to be a whimper not a bang, in the form of an administrator appointed. I expect nothing at all from the Chinese side - why should they give a hoot when they feel they are the aggrieved side? The legal ramifications of what may or may not have occurred are clearly beyond most of us regulars here, so it is essential we find out if we have any recourse, or whether we are simply farting into the wind.

I think you are, like me, only a spread bet or CFD holder here. Did you clarify your position with your broker? If so, I'd be interested to know where we stand regarding any legal action.
