Thanks for that reminder Gipps. Perhaps his services are no longer needed or perhaps due to money constraints Frontera can't keep him on the books. You'd think though if he was independent but still working with Frontera on the arbitration he would say so. So either he's not because it's concluded or he's not because they have other representation.
Please, no Frontera Christmas present. We've been let down over this period more times than I care to remember! If something is going to happen lets be having it in late November. We can all do some extra Christmas shopping then :-)
It seems more negative because he "appears" not to be working for us anymore as he is independant, for a start. If arbitration was successful but just not announced yet you'd think he'd still be with us . All assumptions but i'd certainly see this a more likely negative than positive. It could be he is now independent as Frontera no longer require his services as they have access to other solicitors. Another assumption though.
Yeah, as it is all part of his experience. I'm not saying that the outcome isn't or can't be successful though. Just that as it reads it's not possible to assume a positive outcome. The fact he has left the business does make me think negatively as well. Again, I'll keep an open mind re that.
Seems to me that it is more likely Levan is not working for Frontera on the arbitration and it has not yet been resolved or possibly the outcome has not been successful for Frontera. Leven writes in the past tense about the arbritation because he has left the business and is now an independent solicitor. He also does not mention it was successful, whereas he did for the Turkish arbitration case. I find it hard to assume any positives from Levan leaving the business and from his writing. Shame, as I had my hopes for a moment, until I clicked on the link myself :-/
IMO, anyone that tries to persuade people this is either definitely over or definitely going to relist/make us rich needs to be treated with caution. For the record, I'm not expecting a good result here. It's best to separate truth from opinion though, and that is simply my opinion after several years of being battered by the Frontera roller coaster.
Thanks for dropping by Code and I guess we shouldn't be surprised to hear that you're still confident :-)
I've known for a long time that the political climate needed to change and certain milestones needed to be reached in order for the energy market to be opened up, however, it seems there are many more battles that need to be fought on different fronts. Hopefully we can come out of the other side of all these battles relatively unscathed, but on the face of it that seems very unlikely. As usual we don't have the full picture and perhaps games are being played. It has got to be said though, through all the years of holding FRR, whenever you think things are bad, they usually turn out to be much worse than most people had thought they could be. Hope you're well. Cheers
Hi Codefred. After years of 110% certainty about how massive FRR are going to be, we haven't heard from you since April. What's your opinion now. This was your last post :
"Massive Resources being realised, legislation in Georgia aligning to EU, Court Case on way to being resolved, Realising Massiveness".
Does anybody know what percentage of Block 12 Mtsare and taribani make up? Would they only make up 1% of the field? (It's worth remembering Mtsare and Taribani alone could be worth many billions of $s). Also, people have speculated that Frontera did a deal that would effectively give 5% back to the Georgian's. If the Georgian's were after 99% though, this seems quite an unlikely compromise doesn't it?
Does anyone know if the nda prevents BH or Frontera from announcing a production agreement? If BH are required to announce something like that we can assume they have not drilled any wells with us, as some on here have suggested could have happened whilst we have been suffering complete radio silence from FRR.
Maybe the salaries will eventually be paid in shares at a price that the directors deem fair and reasonable.
Have i got this right? Frontera may be trying to delay the liquidation so that the ADR for the cali case can be concluded in order to pay off FTI liquidators. However, Hope will want to delay the ADR/Cali casd so that liquidation will occur. I think the DOS runs out before the ADR and cali case may conclude though. Is this why we're now seeing Frontera make claims of huge reserves (note reserves not resources), so that if liquidation does occur before ADR/cali case concludes they stand a chance to claim more against Hope/Outrider? Or perhaps the claim of huge reserves is warning shot to Outrider, a suggestion that Frontera aren't dead in the water to try to force a settlement?
And metres to feet :-)
What's going on with the difference in gas reserves? This document's 30tcf is a bit more realistic.
The La Trattoria :-) (Mickey Blue Eyes)
Thanks Star. You'd like to think they (Frr) have a clear road map that will get them out of this, but of course that could be wishful thinking. I would say if FTI are independent and put in place to recover the $2m owed, if this was paid the breach of the terms of the mortgage by moving the asset would be a separate fight. So perhaps if Frr paid the remaining interest they could at some point have to reinstate security of the 2020 loan notes. This would need to be after settling the $2m debt. Just trying to think, from a layman's perspective, just what Frontera's plan could be. The news from the Ukraine would certainly make it seem frontera see a way out and a future for the company.
That should say liquidise any remaining Collateral value.
Gipps raised an interesting question that Starage has not commented on. Would all this stop if FTI were paid off any remaining money owed for missed interest payments with a cash settlement. It does sound as if they have scope to "liquidise and remaining Collateral value" by coming after the rest of the asset, but would FTI do that if what is owed at this time is paid off? Would the DOS then also have to cover the remaining notes owed that currently aren't secured as they should be?
I have share with interactive investor. I'd like to move them at the very least to an account that doesn't charge a monthly fee like interactive investor do. I have some shares in a trading account and some in the isa. I haven't requested certificates. Does anyone know how and if it would be safe/wise to attempt to change brokers whilst things are a bit uncertain with Frontera shares?
To be fair, I would apportion a large part of the blame on the SN days. He squandered billions of shares, destructed company value time and time again through poor operational performance coupled with his unwillingness to communicate and what seemed like utter contempt for the AIM investors that funded the company. All the while this resulted in inefficient and highly dilutive use of the capital market of AIM. Imo, plain and simple bad decisions coupled with poor operational performance is what first identified Frontera as a target for Outrider and later allowed Hope and outrider to get a good strangle hold. I don't like the busniess model, but Hope has just done his job and it shouldn't be a surprise. Outrider announce on their website quite freely their modus operandi. It's a shame that Zaza didn't take the helm a little earlier. At least he marketed the company and started to make better use of AIM and other capital markets and announced some operational (production) success. Maybe Outrider could have been paid off sooner, before they became a major threat.
Perhaps, well hopefully, discovery will unearth some illegal activities by Hope/Outrider and we may see some light at the end of the tunnel. It is seeming very dark and completely silent at the moment though. I wish Zaza could just shed a little light or call out to us. Just to hear him say "I am still here and aligned with you" would mean so much to so many of us. 8 simple words.
