Cut your losses, so that we can buy them back on the cheap.
And up it goes again.
The stock went up to fast, due to a huge demand. A demand so big that there were not enough shares to go around.
Thanks for the price drop today (I sold yesterday), and I will be happy to go back in today and build up another stake.
Hope that the share price drops further. Huge confidence in this stock! They have one several awards, and have plans to expand. I always said this is a stock for the long term, and not just for Christmas!!!
I am loving it!!!
This company already made £6.9M at year ended 30/11/20 with a profit of £1.5M (Profit margin of 22.3%).
At half year (ended 31/05/21) the turnover was £3.4M with a profit of £800K.
What I believe is the cruncher, is that this product is double edged.
Not only does it help crops to grow more efficient, throughout the year, and the possibility of growing additional crops, which means that less carbon expensive imports are required, and result in a cheaper price on the market. This is a win win situation.
Apparently there is already talk of their international venture including the USA.
But also, I read somewhere, that the sensors could potentially be used in the health care sector, for monitoring diabetics, and whatever else can and maybe monitored.
That will be a win, win, win situation.
I can see this company falling in private hands if we are not careful, and the product is as wonderful as its potential has been described!
With the current market capitalisation of less than £36M, that is a real possibility.
If it doesn't and the product is widely wanted, than the sky is the limit.
However to reap all the rewards, It is a long term buy, even though some investors will always interrupt the course of the share price by taking "the short term" profits.
What I would like to know who sold 102,640 shares at 16.35?!
AZN moves up and down like a jojo. Too many players in the market. This probably why UK market is lagging behind the
us market. This has been happening for a while now. It makes the market move constantly up and down, whilst the big players (market makers) are making lots of money by constantly buying and selling the same stock. That is why the little man don't make much profit, due to the high buying and selling costs. Everytime when a stock moves upwards, in a blink of an eye, the sp is back to where it was before, if not lower. So frustrating!
Why is the FTSE lagging behind. Look at the indices in USA and Europe. Why is the UK not following.
Brexit problems?; you did it to yourself! Is UK now DOWN DOWN and OUT?!
Great! Drop in nicotine!
in order to get their fix, they will need to buy more tobacco!
This can only be more profitable, unless the junkies switch to something stronger?!
What is this about cutting dividend? I have not hard anything to that effect.
It is remarkable though that with brokers views ranging from £32-£40, the share price has not hit £30 since July 2020.
Since than there have been some peaks of 2849p (Sep 2020), 2860p (Dec 2020), and 2901p (Aug 2021), with lows of 2491p (Aug 2020), 2446p (Oct 2020), 2485p (Feb 2021), 2716p (May 2021), and 2604 on 30/09/21, and maybe lower today (01/10/21). That will give you a share price range of 2446p - 2901p over the last 14 months. That is an average (not weighted) of 2650p. no where near the 3200p, let alone the 4000p. Jeffries in 2020 with a target of 2700 came closest. I agree, the sp should have been higher, although the return rate at these prices are great in a low interest rate environment.
What is the next move though?
The stock has been sliding since the peak of 5580 in June 2017, with a low of 2425p in January 2019, with reasonable stability during the past 14 months. Hold on to your stock and see where the bottom of this sp drop is, before going back in.
Remember it dropped to 2446 last year October. It could be that the Iqos issue may have an effect on the sp as well (down in the short term). Be careful in this unstable market, look at AZN going up and down like a jojo at the moment!
Good luck.
One day you are up, the next day you are down. that is how unpredictable the market is. Should have sold on Friday, and buy back today.
