Most people on LSE AIM are interested mainly in shares, not companies.

Well, JD_23, you may have paid more than I did, but I'm still holding my original shares bought all the way from 215 down to 170.
Some people, smarter than I, would have sold some of them at 240 - which I believe is known as top-slicing.
I have no idea when the price will reach 500p.
It could be next year or several years, as you say.
I believe the shares still offer exceptional value, but I never make predictions about which year - let alone which day - the price is going to hit a certain level.

I have been investing in AIM oil shares for more than five years and this is what I've been seeing for five years.

I last bought JOG shares at 68.5p and was seriously thinking of buying more at 57p, but hesitated.

THAT is the time to buy such shares.

That must be worth considerably more than $40 million.

Dickupham on JOG was reminiscing on Friday about the time when it was 8p per share, which he considered a Gross under-valuation even at the time.
Since then, it has been up to 399p, down to 57p, and back up to 240p.
I think some people are not being realistic about AIM shares.
The price does not tell the whole story.

One poster suggested a share price of 20p, implying a P.E. ratio of 1 in 2021.

Sounds about right.

Europa Oil & Gas (LON:EOG) is set for a re-rating after a very successful 2014, according to broker finnCap.

Analyst Dougie Youngson, who rates the stock as a ‘buy’, today highlighted “numerous potentially high-impact share price drivers” which he expects in 2015.

With a 17p price target Youngson sees some 190% upside to Europa’s current price of 5.87p.

“2014 was a very successful year for the company which saw it raise £4mln via a placing and rights issue and make a discovery at the Wressle-1 well,” Youngson points out in a note.
