Well, Fishysaurus, it was I who mentioned 25 p and 15p.

I didn't suddenly appear and mentioned that I had posted my warning about a possible fall to 25p previously and that I have a paper loss of more than 50 percent, which all LTHs will know means I cannot have bought recently.

I didn't say anything against SOU.

It is typical of AIM that if a share looks vulnerable it is shown no mercy.

I've seen this kind of thing happen so often that it doesn't surprise me - and I'm losing more than 50 percent.

If TE-9 fails, the price could go to 15 p.

According to Google 's weekly chart, HUR closed at 40.75 on the day after the Scottish referendum, having closed at 41 seven days before.

It finally bottomed in January 2016, about 16 months later.

Actually, El Dorado, I warned that the price might halve again from 20 to 10 and was called a fool by another poster.

I agree that we are at the mercy of speculation, manipulation, oil price movements, and general stock market crashes.

Most of us would probably be relieved to get back to 100 p and treat predictions of 1000 p as unattainable fantasies.

However, shares in JOG fell to 30 p because of a duster; they had recovered to 60 p when they announced a surprise success. and the price went rapidly to almost 400 p.

If TE-10 were ' surprisingly' successful, something similar could happen.

JP has spun many yarns over the year and a half. The problem is that even that yarn has been shown to be almost invisible... The only thing that prevents JP from appearing completely bollo,K naked in front of us is the involvement of Schlumberger. That is where my hopes lie. (Shaungreen47)

I sometimes wonder whether the posters who portray JP as some kind of dishonest salesman ( and I'm not saying Shaungreen is among them) think the same of Schlumberger.

They gave up, after years of unrelenting BS from Keith Bush.

I have a small holding in LOGP, which I recently bought back after four years.

Logp has risen by 68 percent in the last two and a half weeks.

I also have a holding in SQZ, which has risen 73 per cent during the last five weeks.

HUR has fallen during the past month.

Before someone counters that LOGP and SQZ have risen on good news, can someone tell me what bad news could explain the fall in HUR's value?

I think what the OP was trying the do was compare HUR to companies which have sky-high valuations on hopes that they will discover oil or that oil they have discovered can be extracted profitably.

HUR has already got the oil to flow.

If I hadn't invested so much already, I might now be adding.

Last time I bought was at 28.25 down to 24.5 and I wouldn't buy later at higher levels because I don't like getting sucked in by a rising share price.

Nevertheless, to say that the company is worth just 300m, i.e. about 15 p per share, is ridiculous.

I still think the price is being manipulated.

If I were not already invested, I would now be accumulating.

This price will look like a bargain in due course.
