As I've said before, PVR is seriously undervalued based on Barryroe alone, but if South Dunquin/ Newgrange/ Avalon are successful, it could rocket.

You're right: the ban on leaking causes people to think that no news means bad news.

I think this is normal on AIM; it's the reason I hate these periods of waiting.

It's possibly worse than waiting for the result of a dental x-ray.

Even if the news is good, i.e gas is found, the market can find ways to interpret it as bad news, e.g. not as much gas as hoped for, doubts about its commercial value, and so on.

In predicting a while ago that the price could reach 25 pre-drill results and 15 in the event of failure, I wasn't making a judgment about the true value of the company.

I based my opinion on the market action and my overall experience with AIM.

There was a time when smaller company shares used to soar on excitement, but nowadays they plunge on expectations of bad news.

There really seems little incentive to invest in companies with good prospects, until their prices have collapsed.

SOU actually has a 15-year contract to sell gas and yet there are posters variously claiming that the gas isn't there / if it is there, no-one will ever buy it/ the directors have swindled us all (and presumably Schlumberger too)/ the shares are worthless.

Presumably, the market doesn't believe that SOU will be able to sell the gas it has already found - something like a reverse Midas touch.

I don't think much of GS's predictions, but I don't see this bear market lasting, which makes PMO's the share price fall unsustainable.

I suspect the price fall is due to a combination of fear and shorting.

The strange thing is that TE-10 is far more important, yet there is so much fear that TE-9 will fail.

I have never liked the hype surrounding the company, but to call JP a crook is something else.

There was a lot of such talk about TOR at PVR, yet he has negotiated impressive deals.

Even after a deal with a Chinese company, for which shareholders had been waiting for five years, posters were saying he is a crook and that the Chinese would walk away, but they didn't.

If TE-9 fails and the price falls further, the skeptics or derampers will be crowing.

If it succeeds, they will not be heard of till the next share price crisis.

The usual share price correction has now been accompanied by an oil price correction.

Seen it all before.

I've been holding for more than four years and have seen Brent down to about $26 and HUR about 9 p.

HUR will breach 70 p next year and Brent could be back above $70.

Let's not forget that during these gyrations, HUR the company (as distinct from HUR the share price) has gone from strength to strength.

Who will be paying for the Dunquin South drill?

If the share price fall has been caused by selling pressure, why is it that for the past two days, LSE has shown more shares bought than sold?

I would be more than happy if SOU went up 40 times, but not if it's from 1p to 40p!
