Well, Dr Bruce, all I can say is that the valuations on AIM are perverse and reflect not the companies' prospects but the fickleness of the speculators (since they seem heavily to outnumber the investors).

I often think we have no right to complain, as these are the factors that enable us to buy cheaply - if we have the courage to do so.

I wonder whether the share price will take off on FOIL.

I have a feeling it won't really take off until the initial bid approach is announced.

I just realised that the two sets of earnings I cited are identical at £ = $1.29.

That means Skopolitis' estimate for 2020 is 10 percent higher.

With the profits I'm expecting from this investment, I should be able to buy a fridge / freezer that can be operated by voice recognition technology, which will pour you a drink from a carton of fruit juice (and identify the correct flavour) or hand you a bag of chips from the freezer compartment.

I'm sure Richard Bernstein is expecting the same.

As I said some time ago, when the SP was perhaps in the forties, people had unrealistic ideas about prospects, with some thinking it would always suffer a correction if it tried to make a new high.

Eventually, it must break through.

RT did hint in a recent interview that some kind of deal was in the making.

I'm not sure why RB thinks he has been vindicated, but he seems happy to go along with RT's strategy:

I wonder when he said Range Resources are worth 50 p per share.

I see they are trading at 0.09 p and therefore have some way to go.

I have pointed out previously that he reckoned that LOGP were very undervalued at 40 p a few years ago, since when they hit a low of 0.47 p.

Well, I'm confident of the end result, bus you never know what will happen in the market in the meantime, which is why it's best to keep back some cash.

My total position is much closer to a quarter of a million shares and I would be chuffed if I got £10 per share, but I would be prepared to accept £5 per share.

I share your optimism, Genghis, although, based on past share price performance, I would not like to predict when it will make a new high, let alone reach £1.00

I seem to remember PVR reaching about 20 p on hopes of a monster find in Druid and Drombeg, but they were full of water and the price fell to less than 5p.

That's what I'm hoping for, although I have much less invested here.
