If people had been interested in value, the price would not have fallen to 147 a few weeks ago.

If, however, other companies were to show interest in JOG's assets, then the price might rise and they might become interested.

It is precisely because of the this feature of AIM that there are such bargains to be had, but when a share becomes even more of a bargain, there are always those who argue that the price is low for a good reason / the market is governed by 'fair value' / the directors are 'con men' etc.

That's why so many people sell at bargain prices.

I don't know about the poster you were referring to, Mr B, but it is a remarkable fact that when a share price is falling and investors are trying to stay cool, certain clairvoyants appear, not to give an opinion about what will happen to the share price, but to tell us just how low it will go.

If you had a few hours to spare, you could eventually scroll back to a post that told us that the price would fall to 16 p.

It never happened and, as far as I can remember, the poster never appeared again.

On another share, a poster actually said that the oil price would fall to $40 shortly.

He didn't express an opinion; he stated it as if it were already a fact.

Instead, it rose to $80.

These people have no shame.

I too think that there are quite a few slightly sadistic posters on LSE who delight in tormenting investors who are losing money.

Some of them are of the clairvoyant type, able to tell you exactly how far your precious holding is going to fall.

It's the soundest strategy in AIM, SMT.

I averaged down all the way to 170, hesitated at 160 and 150, was tempted at 147, but put off by a deramper.

It's now up fifty percent.

That's the kind of money you can make if you don't read BBs like this one.

Presumably, by 'six-figure' you mean the number of shares, not the amount invested.

I now have more than eight times as many PVR shares as I had originally in 2014.

I have been thinking for some time that this is possibly the best oil prospect around, but obviously the idea is taking a long time to catch on.

I used to think you were mad with all your core and non-core investments, but I have reinvested in both companies, years after getting out of both.
