My impression, Ajax, is that most people are obsessed by share price movements and the true prospects of the company are only of secondary interest to them.

If you think the company has great prospects and will eventually soar in value, whether because of its success or being taken over, then you hold the shares until that time and don't get shaken out.

I thought the opposite was true, Delboi, i.e. LOGP will need to raise money before PVR will.

The part I didn't get in your earlier post is that you seemed to be assuming that PVR would have a free hand, and in your latest post your calculation is based on 100 per cent ownership.

I thought the deals done so far have reduced PVR's interest well below that and it no longer has a free hand.

Don't tell me - the delay means income from production being lost 'forever'!

You mean that PVR would develop other assets in collaboration with its partners and share the income - instead of selling off assets for a few $ per barrel?

I've made the same point myself, although about small companies in general. rather than just AIM oil stocks.

The advantage nowadays, however, is that you really don't need to chase prices and can buy in tranches as the price collapses!

RNS looks okay to me - it says there could be 3.4 TCF or nothing.

I wish, however, that they would use real English instead of words like 'deliverability.'

Did they say in advance that they would accept it as proof of your holding?

Do you know whether any tax be claimed back for previous years?
