'Are there potential buyers looking at the company?
If so, will they have people looking at forums to gauge investor sentiment?
If so, will views expressed in those forums suggest positive or negative sentiment?
If negative, will that encourage a higher, or lower, bid?'

If many posters - perhaps a majority - are right, he's bluffing, hoping to convince a major that Tendrara contains plenty of gas when he knows it doesn't.

What are the chances that he would succeed?

Would Rothschilds take on such a prospect?

I made the same point yesterday, but was corrected when mentioning Wales: apparently, the correct analogy is with Qatar (twice the size of).

Some posters said it wouldn't be worth drilling TE-10 because it was obviously dry.

I made the point that most drills fail and, on that basis, you might as well stop oil exploration altogether.

I agree with you, Biffa, yet I have read posts on here about how HUR is supposedly fully-valued or over-valued because it's difficult to justify a market capitalisation of much more than a billion pounds for a company that hasn't produced any oil and when so many things could still go wrong.

The divergence of views is amazing.

It stands to reason that in an area the size of Wales, TE-5 cannot be the only place to hold gas.

That is exactly what I think, which means that many AIM companies are very undervalued.

There are plenty of things that could go wrong in life.

Any of us could die today, but I personally wouldn't bet on it.

On AIM , however, there seems to be a remarkable inclination to bet on such possibilities.

I'm down by slightly more than you, as a result of recently averaging down.

It doesn't pay to invest heavily in an AIM stock based on supposed prospects alone, because eventually the price will collapse.

It is only then that one should buy most of one's holding.

It's AIM.

AIM is a shorter paradise.

It seems as though share prices are always collapsing.

You need deep pockets to average down and finally beat the market.

I'm also swimming in tens of thousands of shares, but only because the price has collapsed and it's difficult not to buy tens of thousands at these levels (and I bought too soon at 26.6, 22.5, 18.5 and 12.3, and still got up to 33,000).

I may buy some more, but I just hope we have finally hit the bottom.

I heard only an indirect reference to the collapsed share price, but Malcy is the master of the soft interview technique.

I have to say, however, that anyone watching the interview would find it difficult to believe that Rothschild is about to take the company over for 5-10 p per share.

That was possibly the most idiotic post I have ever read.

I bought some more today for just under 8.4 p.
