''Surely if someone had £6k to punt on this sort of nonsense at 4p, they would have bought 150,000 shares rather than only 20,000 and still possibly lost it all if the company actually goes bust?''
Anyone with an IQ higher than a fruit bat and want to put themselves in a positive frame of mind from the outset would be thinking that buying 20,000 at 4p they have 'saved' £5200 over what it would have cost them not long ago.
If I ever buy further shares in a stock at lower prices than I had previously purchased at, I would buy the same number of shares again, not spend the same amount - again, I would think that I have 'saved' some money against a previous expenditure.
''Or do you think people on this platform are so stupid they don't understand which company is worth more: one with a million issued share capital whose shares are trading at £1 each, or one with 100m shares trading at 5p?''
Haven't a clue what you are getting at, but there are many stupid people who have gambled on Met1.
Purchasing as an example at 50p and not having the intelligence to know that was effectively purchasing at a market cap of about £400 million rather than the market cap that would have been showing at the time (£25 million ?) on financial websites
''Or aren't your percentages up to it?''
once again, haven't a clue what you are getting at
