NO, the MPC increased the base rate in February - fact
That kicked of the process of starting QT, which was in March - fact.
So why are you saying that QT started in Feb.

The process of Brexit kicked off on 23 June 2016.
The EU left the EU on 31 Jan 2020

The UK did not have millions more people on the dole. The UK did not go into a deep recession.

Why don't you ask the BOE the reasons they gave at the time why base rates did not need to go up more quickly when inflation first took a hold - meaning that they got behind the curve

How many more times? - QE was a policy decision by the BOE and undertaken for the same reasons as other central banks.
Predictions following the vote did not materialise (how many more times).
The UK left the EU in 2020 the BOE continued with QE because of the pandemic.
QE was initiated by different central banks for the same reasons and QT initiated for the same reasons - easy enough for all but the dumbest to understand

I have already posted- QE was a policy decision based on opinions of what was needed for the economy. Predictions regarding a vote outcome did not materialise re unemployment/recession.

We left the EU at the end of Jan 2020 not in 2016.

We were supposed to have had millions more unemployed after vote - didn't happen. QE was started and continued baause of the world financial crisis and latterly covid 19.
