Lloyds benefits from increased NIM. Lloyds also greatly benefits from money held at the bank of England.

Lloyds have a low ltv mortgage book.

you are losing the plot - I said that Lloyds have an option to rent out a repossessed property. If a property is not in negative equity it would be.sold.

you appear to keep moving the goal posts - now it is 'struggling to pay' from simply being in negative equity from a fall in house prices after getting out a 95% mortgage. That would be a quick turnaround in fortunes. Able to afford to take out the mortgage to then struggling to pay. There are affordability checks when someone takes out a mortgage.

To satisfy their duty to get the best price they reasonably can, a mortgage lender should place a property on the open market. Whilst a repossessed property may be sold at auction many are marketed in the usual way through estate agents.

You would need a very large drop in prices to be a concern for Lloyds, so no need for sleepless nights .

someone taking out a 95% mortgage today followed by a 15% fall in house prices is of no concern to Lloyds. Negative equity held by a fraction of mortgage holders does not equate to Lloyds not getting their mortgage payments
