as far as I am concerned ,and what I have been saying for at least the last couple of years, inheritance tax should be scrapped completely. Doesn't raise a get deal (£7 Billion? ) and completely unfair. A very modest property (small flat, 2 bed terraced house) in many parts of London would be valued well in excess on the IHT limit.

A reminder - Lloyds if they so wished could have a dividend yield of about 14% in 2024 let alone 11% in 2028.

twelve years ago the shares were at a low price level, so you should be sitting comfortably.

Others bought at a much higher price , and some of those didn't take advantage of low prices in more recent years,so you should feel a bit more content.

The share price was under 150p 3 months later and went up further after that.

I will not be selling any of my under 82p purchase at under £2 with the current state of affairs.

At near £2 the business outlook would be reviewed again to determine whether to keep a current partial sale level that is in mind ,or to up the level further.

btw you will never have any secret info on saga that would be market sensitive, so no further BS from you thanks.

I simply stated a fact, that soon after your great 'secret' info on Saga that couldn't be revealed to anyone, and, once all was revealed in half time results the share price steadily decreased to near £1. Not a reducing profitability figure should be sufficient ( any increase a bonus), along with a 5-10% reduction in share count each year.

There is not a problem with HSBC - I have a lot of stocks in my portfolio, and virtually all dividends are paid on time or in some cases early on a Saturday when due on the Monday.

In all my decades of investing, I have never had such a delay with a dividend payment.

I am still waiting for the final SMIF payment to be paid from 2 weeks ago.

Anyone else?
