I wouldn't say that - underlying profit is not much different to what is has been in a number of the years of LBG's existence. The main difference now is that £Billions are not forked out each year on PPI .

it was with you stating that the King is on benefits.No I am not wrong. The crown gave up the profits of the crown estate in return for a guaranteed yearly amount. The crown estate profits far exceeds the Kings payment.

Too many investors get fixated on what the share price is currently, rather than looking at the bigger, longer term picture. With the current profitability and the removal of between 5-10% of shares each year, then the price of each share WILL HAVE TO increase in the coming years.
