Lloyds now have £1.2 Billion available to do with as they please as none of it is a loan on the books to the Barclay family

The balance sheet would have been improved by the writeback amount, but £1.2 Billion needs a new home as none of it is now on the books as a loan to the Barclay family.

Lloyds has received payment from the Telegraph sale.

As far as the balance sheet goes, I imagine it would be about a £500 million writeback.

Hopefully some of the money will go on an improved buyback amount

Market concentrated on just a 3 month period - that 3 months is now history.

Retreat in share price is still not lower than my last recent top up .

Taking account of the now very good dividend level, another top up will be considered.

I thought that the final dividend would be 21 cents to match the 51 cents yearly total, as it was a number of years ago, but in fact the final dividend is a massive 31 cents.

I have said before, increasing numbers of multiculturals into our small island has done nothing to increase GDP per capita.

btw, you will only get returns made by way of buybacks in cash form, when you sell shares.

What was immoral about having a bit higher interest rate if necessary, to take account of commissions that had to be paid out.

Also, I think you will find the Black Horse income has always continued, except now with higher interest rate income. Is that immoral or what they are in business for?
