Now an investigation is taking place about something that they knew about and seeing whether purchasers of cars are deserved compensation retrospectively despite being legitimate at the time.

FCA are good at putting businesses into administration.

Wonga was put out of business due to the FCA wanting them to pay retrospective compensation.

There were a lot of stupid people around signing up to Wonga's extortionate interest rates. Why is it that people cannot be allowed to take responsibility for their own actions and the consequences, rather than then getting retrospective compensation. It is a failure of the FCA not to have the necessary rules in place at the start without them then changing the rules to backdate the new rules.

The problem with making a provision is that it would indicate a capitulation to an event that has yet to take place, giving a green light to the FCA.

Any sensible person would know that anyone purchasing a car was happy with the terms that they signed on the dotted line for.

Brix would be very unhappy to get fines now for smoking in weatherpersons 20 years ago.

it should be about 14% based on the current share price,but you will have to wait a little longer. Returns of course are of most benefit to longer term shareholders and not those now wishing to sell at x+y where x+y+z was once available.

this and a number of similar posts from others only says that for some reason 48p is a good price to be able to sell at whereas when it was at 48p and higher in recent times that it was not a high enough price.

Investors need to have more clarity of thought in deciding what a business is worth and not keep adjusting to X+7 where X is a current share price.

Improvement in GDP per capita would mean an improvement in productivity.
