I certainly don't get that feeling - Maybe I would if BH had gone 80% cash ,but most of the current level is simply down to selling a chunk of one stock, Apple, which is on a high p/e ratio.

Logic has gone out of the window when you evaluate future profit prospects using the first half 2024 figures, which for reported reasons were always expected to fall from the previous year.

I prefer to evaluate future profit prospects on the assumption that Lloyds should benefit in the coming years from the structural hedge.

Of course though we do not know the unknown, as regards to the extent of any car loan compensation (SCAM) payments that may be required to be made.

The market decides on the valuation of Lloyds, which they are currently valuing at a cheap £36.5 Billion

All that Berkshire Hathaway has done recently is to sell some of their Apple shares, which are trading on a high p/e ratio which has to be taken into consideration along with further future growth potential in comparison to past growth levels.
