It’s unbelievable really. And don’t forget, they were thinking about trying the lift now as opposed to last winter so we could be sitting waiting for that! I would think that the last 5 months have been spent coming up w 10 different plans for getting the Kyalla to flow and to overcome any contingency along the way. I always had the vision of oil workers as the old school tough guys, kind of like cowboys, working all the time, etc. my vision now is more like modern day lifeguards! In the north east! 4 months on- 8 months off!!

Looks like a rehash of what we already knew but I am again struck by how little Falcon/Origin does with this resource on an annual basis. 1/3 of the year is gone and as far as we know nothing has happened. IF everything works perfect on cleaning up the Kyalla, we are looking at mid August earliest for a 90 day flow test. I then assume we will start talking about the rainy season again.

What are the odds that this Kyalla well can be fixed?
If it can, what are the realistic time frames? 1 month? 3 months? I mean, it’s looking like we may not have conclusive results on a well started in 2019 until 2022!! Well over two years. Meanwhile we drill a pilot well in the velkerri and do a flow test on a previously drilled well. That’s it for a year!! That’s the work this company can get done in a year?? And for that, POQ gets paid $700K???? I mean, seriously, can’t anyone sit there and nod their head while origin lays out how they’re going to take over more and more of falcons position?
I know I am being pessimistic but this really is discouraging on every front.

No- I have never been in this business and I get what you’re saying but the Amungee, velkerri and Kyalla are all different areas, levels right? Shouldn’t we be starting on each of those now? I mean why wouldn’t we have tried to additionally prove up the Amungee last year while we were doing the Kyalla?

So when I read this I see some hype and the fact that Empire plans to drill one horizontal well this year?
I get why people want to jump from Falcon but it still seems to me that Origin is the farthest along the path to commercialization. Whether it will stay that way I don’t know. If the Kyalla had flowed good numbers last fall and we were working on new wells this year I think most would be fairly happy. I don’t have the technical know how to tell you if they screwed that well up but I assume Halliburton knows what it’s doing? My biggest complaint is everything seems to be done in a linear fashion here. Why can’t we drill 10 different wells at the same time??

Sooo....my question remains. Who has done more in the last year, or since the moratorium, to reap this Beetaloo gold? Who is farther along in the process to commercialize this asset?

Poorly written by me below. I guess I’m asking why you think Australia and the Beetaloo in particular are so slow to develop these resources? I’m not happy w what Origin has accomplished but has anyone in the Beetaloo done more?

BC- why do you think the Beetaloo has done so little. At least Origin has drilled - I think empire is the only other last year. If you compare these firms to the other Beetaloo firms, they look worse than Origin. Why do you think that is? Is there a “fundamental lack of urgency in Australia”?

I hope you’re right but this has been “2 years away” since I got into it. Also, you’re right. Almost 1/3 of the year is shot and I don’t know that anything has been accomplished. Hopefully they are ready to try the best of the 10 ideas they came up w to get the Kyalla to flow.

I think everyone is aware of the terrible state of affairs. Yet, aside from big ones w his $1000 invested, most of us are still in this. Just for fun, let’s say the Kyalla does flow and the stock goes to US$ .25-30, How many of us would be out at that point and how many would wait for a potential higher amount or potential buyout? I think at .35-.50I would be hard pressed not to sell a bunch.

We pretty much knew this was going to happen when they shut down the well and said we’ll be back in the 2Q. The news we need is a 90 day flow test from the Kyalla and that won’t be until almost July. Maybe we’ll get some bad news before that saying they couldn’t clean up the well but 4-5 months w no real news means a deteriorating price. Frankly I’m surprised it is still this high. I was predicting .07s by April 1.

So as we’ve been saying for a long time....”A few more years”

I remember you from one of the other message boards a few years back! I am not doubting what you say but I am wondering about the “free shares” you mention for POQ and the BoD? Have either been given shares in the co? Or are you talking about the options ?
