You said I will have regrets, in fact I've already got a few from other mistakes on stocks. I'm determined to not make another which is why I get a little over analytical, but your comments are reassuring. Thank you.

Tomorrow is going to be interesting. The whole market seemed to move down today, with the covid recovery stocks taking big hits, but NEX held relatively well in comparison. Those results were awesome and despite the "sell on news" brigade this recovered well and seems to want to push on.
Long term we all know this is a no brainer, but overnight people should have more time to digest the results and news about NEX from today. Does everyone feel the same as me that this is still on the way up in the short term? If so, what point do you think we'll start to ease off a little?

I can't believe we're back in the green already. That is definitely different from the last few results days where it kept falling. Really exciting now as this should push on and on. Another 2 months until the next market update

I was kicking myself when we almost dropped back to the opening price towards 2, but it seemed to pick up again going into the close so hopefully the momentum will continue. This is one of the more reassuring stocks because it's got the finances behind it to survive even if it takes a year or more to roll out the vaccine. Some of the stocks which are seeing bigger gains than us are on much dodgier financial ground and could still go under I think.

This could actually end up higher than it's value when we went into Covid so seems a safer option.

If you compare NEX to some of the other covid stocks this still has a lot of legs left in it. Today was a comparatively small gain, but we have another market update towards the end of the month and if it's as well received as the last one this could soar.

That's a fair comment. Mine is more a lesson from previous where I've been sat in profit on this twice only to see it evaporate. Each time I kicked myself because I could have used the profit to buy more. To be fair, with my past luck it's probably best for you all that I sell on the open because then you're guaranteed a rise!

I was on Boohoo and it almost went to 400. It didn't and someone on there said it needed to 'fill the gap' where it had seen a very rapid rise. I didn't believe it and then it kept dropping and dropping over the next week or so (It then had bad news which ruined the whole theory and sent it plummeting well below where people had previously thought, but this drop was before the bad news).

Does anyone here understand the gap filling theory? I wonder if we'll see that at about 170 today when it just seemed to skyrocket?

So long as the trolls stay off this forum I don't think we'll be walked all the way down though. Since the lockdown news and short lived drop, this has been like the perfect storm of good news.

I don't think they were selling. It was being manipulated down ready for that huge jump.

Thanks PR. I think you're right. It was telling that not long after I made the post and we were around the 168 it dropped back a bit when earlier this week it was containing to climb. Could be profit takers and the US being in a bit more of a bad mood.

Long term though I'm convinced this is a winner which is why I've ridden this down 3 times already (once when I bought on, then twice more from the rises I mentioned). Once things are settled this won't turn back and then the real money can be made hopefully.

I have ridden this back up to the 170 mark twice before and I'm so excited to see we may be heading there again imminently, but I'm also worried because the last couple of times we reached this there was a big drop shortly after.

I've seen people talk about 'resistance' on other boards and wondered if anyone here knows whether we're still seeing strong resistance at 170 or whether this time we might push past?

Indeed it is Bladey, it looks like the trolls have disappeared off this board too which is always a good sign. Lockdown seems to have been taken in our stride, now it's just the US election to navigate.

It would be nice if this was true, but this happened today for almost all stocks. In fact, Rolls Royce, BP etc finished positive. It's exciting that we recovered most of the losses, but there's still a good chance of another morning drop if the market wakes up in a bad mood. It is so fickle at the moment and often doesn't react in a logical way. It's definitely not boring though and we could equally continue moving up to test 170/180 again. Good luck all, at least we know eventually this will reward us.
