People have been saying for the last 12 months or so that this looks like an obvious candidate for a RTO and in theory it does. However there hasn't been a peep about it and Challenger's outstandingly useless CEO hasn't seen fit to update shareholders on what the plan is, now that the company has no investments, a few grand in cash and a trashed share price.

In short, your guess is as good as anyone else's.

Genuinely one of the worst sets of interim results I've seen from any company. Zero progress and they're inexplicably giving the Star Sanctum person more and more time to repay the last of the loan. Presumably she's got them over a barrel as Challenger is in no position to be paying a law firm to retrieve the cash. If I were her I'd be hoping the company falls over before the last payment has to be made.

Nothing in those results to be positive about. It seems like a matter of time at this point.

The simplest explanation is often the correct one. That holds true in this case. Dougal doesn't know anything. He briefly acknowledged and accepted that his money is gone a while ago, but seems to have done a 180 and has enthusiastically embraced delusion again.

It's irrelevant anyway. Challenger's stake in the failed NY Wheel project has been diluted in to oblivion. As we know, the company is in no position to be making further investments anywhere else.

The final payment from Dallas is due in just over a fortnight's time and I think there's a few thousand left from the failed Star Sanctum project still to come. After that, there's nothing left. No investments, no revenue streams.

You'd think the CEO would be eager to clarify the future direction of the company. And yet... nothing. What does he do all day?

I'll say it again - it would be very easy for the company to blow the 'bears' out of the water by providing proof that a) there is a viable product, b) that 'clinical trials' ever actually took place, or c) that there is anything whatsoever of substance happening.
